Monster Creeping: Mridul Vijay
I creep on people’s channels sometimes. I don’t always clap or comment, but don’t worry because they still got my read time. As a bonus, sometimes those I creep on end up here. 😉
Once again, we’re back to the young writer building stories into the world. There’s a long list of ways to write better, to improve and “hone” the craft of writing; and yet there’s one thing this writer has that cannot be taught.
Tenacity. And that curious joy of writing one gets when following the muse where it leads.
He also has a strong desire to improve.
Not just by continuing to write (though that is definitely helping him, too), but also by submitting a story to the Get Read campaign.

Monster Fam Interview — Mridul Vijay (Part 2 of 2)
Today’s interview segment is with Mridul Vijay! Originally featured in Follower To Follower #17, he currently has 148 followers on Medium, and writes fiction short stories.
How do you manage your time between writing and responding to comments on Medium?
I usually spend my free time after school and my weekends thinking up story ideas and writing them. If I get any comments I answer them in the morning, which is when I check my notifications.
Is there any advice you’d like to give to people starting out on Medium?
If I were to give any advice to a person starting out on Medium it would be: Write what you want to write to the world, followers will come automatically.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future for now is to keep writing and keep getting followers.
Are there any works you want to promote here today?
I did want to promote the story called The Monster In The Woods. It was in TAM’s October Challenge, but the challenge has ended now.
Are you listed on The Evergreen Directory? What’s your opinion of the idea?
Yes, I am listed on the Evergreen Directory and I think it’s a great idea. You go on to the Evergreen Directory and find a variety of blogs that write from anything fiction to personal development.
