Fields developing crops

As the summer advances, crops develop. Here are some interesting shots.

In the cover

A field of potatoes, just 100 m away from the shore of Lac Leman near Lausanne, Switzerland.

Did you know potato and tomato plants are so much related that you can graft them to make hybrid plants that give potatoes in the soil and tomatoes in the aerial part?
