Enjoy Your Trip to… Earth

[Updated June 20, 2022] Travel and tourism as a metaphor for life, and more.

Imagine:

You are at home. Life is comfortable. You have a lovely home and family, and a comfortable life. You really have nothing to complain about.

But you have itchy feet. You want to experience something different: something new, something exciting.

So, you consider taking a trip to some place that you have not been to before. You explore your options.

“Hmmm. One of my options is to have a life incarnation on a place called ‘Earth’.”

The Brochure for Earth Promises:

• An “embodied human experience” that is unlike anything that you have ever had before
• Challenges that will take you to the edge of your seat
• Emotional experiences, both “good” and “bad”, that are deeper than you ever knew were possible
• Friendships, loves, and some enemies that last an eternity, and those that last only a moment
• Intellectual discoveries that give you exciting new insights into reality in ways not possible in your current dimension
• Places and lifestyles that will keep you forever perplexed and in awe
• Sensual beauty and diversity beyond your imagination and dreams
• Foods that you will crave lifetime after lifetime
• Memories that you will cherish long after you return home
• And the biggest prize of all: a chance to ascend to Source Consciousness in a single incarnation! *

(*) Note that you can reach God or Source Consciousness on Earth more quickly than in other dimensions of reality because of the strong polarities that exist there. However, it is still a challenge, and we cannot guarantee that you will achieve this.

You Think to Yourself:

“This sounds perfect. It is just what I need to get out of my rut.

And it sounds more interesting than the other options that I have: the Moon, Mars, the Sun…

I am going to sign up for a trip to Earth!

What do I need to do? What is it going to cost me?”

A Trip to Earth Requires:

• (1) You must agree to forget everything about who you are before the trip, including all previous trips that you may have had to Earth and elsewhere. — This is because each trip to Earth is unique and bringing your pre-trip knowledge will limit the depths of your experiences there; this forgetting is part of your initial indoctrination upon arrival (in birth and early childhood) on Earth. [See the Alan Watts quote related to this below.]
• (2) You must agree to accept that time, space, and physical objects are real and can only be changed or manipulated by other time, space, and physical objects. — Time and space cannot be changed by your consciousness, which is how you do things in your home dimension. — However, you will have free will to remember and return to those skills after the initial indoctrination period.

• (3) You will select the place you want to be born on Earth, your parents, major challenges and milestones, and people in your life, and the overall goals you want to achieve. — This is how you set up the experiences that you want to have on this trip. — Your childhood indoctrination experience will create many of the major challenges and goals that you will seek to achieve for most of this trip. — As with any trip, we cannot guarantee your experiences and goals, but with proper pre-trip planning, many of them will happen. You have free will and can change your plans as you see fit. — It often takes more than one trip to achieve all your goals, especially if this is your first trip to Earth and if the challenges you create are difficult ones to resolve.
• (4) You will select when you start your trip (in Earth’s timeline of years) and the approximate length of time you want to be on Earth. — You need to learn about the concept of “Earth time”, because where you currently exist time is relative and much more flexible than it is on Earth. — You can start your trip at any point in the Earth’s existence. This will significantly impact the experiences that will be available to you because the vibratory level varies significantly across the planet’s standard timeline. However, there are other Earths with other timelines that you can also consider.
• (5) You need to make your reservation well in advance, because many other souls want to go to experience Earth, and the waiting list is long. — Many of our customers re-book their next trip back to Earth as soon as they return home because the experience there is so special, and they want to know everything possible about this unique destination. — That is also why the human population of Earth is so large in certain timeline periods.
• (6) Our travel agency will provide you with guides, usually two or three core ones, with other specialists available. — Your guides will always be available to help you. But as much as possible, they will stay out of your way so you can explore and experience Earth in its fullest form. — In case of an emergency, it is possible to contact them. They will also assist your return after your trip ends.
• (7) As with any journey, it is up to you to make the most of your visit. — We will help you to create the conditions you most desire. But you have free will to interpret those conditions in a positive, neutral, or negative manner. Learning to work with positive and negative judgments and emotions is one of the core experiences of a trip to Earth.

So, You Decide:

“Sign me up! This sounds like the most exciting thing I could do!”

It's Time to Go:

You have excitedly made all your travel arrangements, working closely with your guides. They see you off as you start your travels. And the last thing they tell you is:

Enjoy your trip to Earth!

Experience the full range of what it offers, from the highest “highs” to the lowest “lows”.

Learn as much as you can about the planet, its universe, and yourself.

We know you will truly have an unforgettable journey — Bon Voyage!!!

With that, they give you a huge hug and you are off on your life journey on Earth.

[Note that from the higher-self dimension that you came from, there is no such thing as “death” and all experiences are of equal value — none are judged good or bad. For more on that, see:]

Meanwhile:

Your partner [husband or wife — gender distinctions are more blurred in this dimension] thinks you are crazy to want to go to such a chaotic and challenging place like Earth. “Why would anyone want to experience the pain and suffering that is common for so many on Earth?” They prefer to just stay home and look after the house while you are away.

Because of the higher vibrations of your home dimension, you will only be gone for 10 days to experience a 100-year lifetime on Earth. (Your dimension is 365 times faster than that of Earth.)

Your brother and his wife dislike the extremes of Earth and usually pick places to visit that are more like your home dimension. They have been talking about going to a planet in the Sirius star system, although they have yet to decide when they will do that trip.

Your son has been to Earth before and enjoyed it. Because he cannot get away so easily from his work, he booked a shorter trip that will overlap with yours so you can spend some time together there.

And your youngest daughter, the wild one in the family, wants to go to college on a planet in the Orion system that offers even more extreme polarities and challenges than on Earth — which just sounds so exciting to her.

You are all looking forward to sharing your experiences and photos when you return.

Epilogue:

For as long as I can remember (well, at least since High School) this is one way that I have viewed my life on Earth.

Family road trips were a huge part of my memories of summer growing up on the west coast of the US. That interest guided me into the fields of human geography and travel and tourism studies.

I am a lifelong student of planet Earth — maybe I came here for my college education, as well!

“I was taught this about 15 years ago. When I looked at my entire life from this perspective, everything made sense. My outlook on life and my purpose changed. I stopped worrying about materialistic things and focused on what I’m supposed to be learning in this life. Little by little, I remember who I am. I recognize people and things from before. Or any length of time you wanted to have. And you would, naturally as you began on this adventure of dreams, you would fulfill all your wishes. You would have every kind of pleasure you could conceive.

And after several nights of 75 years of total pleasure each, you would say, “Well, that was pretty great. But now let’s have a surprise. Let’s have a dream which isn’t under control. Where something is gonna happen to me — that I don’t know what it’s going to be.” And you would dig that and come out of that and say “Wow, that was a close shave, wasn’t it?”

And then you would get more and more adventurous, and you would make further and further out gambles as to what you would dream. And finally, you would dream … where you are now. You would dream the dream of living the life that you are actually living today.” — Alan Watts
