Abstract

r week. For December, I won’t limit myself to the amount of long or short articles. I’ll write what feels…right.</p><h1 id="67af">X Challenge</h1><p id="e94d">I only have 1 challenge this month, and it might be a little tough, but I’m going to try!</p><h2 id="9561">Comment on at least 25 posts per day.</h2><p id="a791">I know that doesn’t seem hard, but with everything else going on, finding the time to do this might not be easy.</p><p id="ee8f">My <a href="https://readmedium.com/my-november-goals-for-x-twitter-are-5cba5045bcc9">X challenge in November</a> was to write 2 posts per day (relevant to my topic) and to comment on at least 10 posts per day.</p><blockquote id="8f5f"><p>Why am I not focused on posting my own content?</p></blockquote><p id="2496">It’s not that I won’t be posting my own content. I will. But I don’t want to set a target amount. I’ll be looking for new and interesting ways to grow it. December 2023 Challenges & Goals

What’s in store for Medium, X, & my Mini Newsletter in December…

My November challenges taught me that consistency pays off. December will continue with the consistency theme (because it has to).

But I will be changing up a few things.

Medium Challenge

I have two goals for Medium — supporting other writers and writing. Crazy, eh?

1. Supporting other writers

Last month, my challenge was to read, highlight, comment, and clap on at least 5 articles a day.

Because there is so much good content in Medium (and because of the new Friend of Medium membership), I am challenging myself to bump that up to at least 10 articles per day.

This will help support other writers while getting my name out there a little more.

I am also challenging myself to step out of my bubble for some of those articles and find new and interesting topics to explore.

2. Write at least 1 article per day

December is a crazy month. Not only am I buying and organizing all the gifts, but I’m also hosting Christmas dinner this year. And we’re traveling to visit family at the end of the month.

So this goal might be tough. But my plan is to create a few articles ahead of time to schedule in advance on the craziest days.

In November, my goal was to create at least 2 long-form articles and at least 3 short-form articles per week. For December, I won’t limit myself to the amount of long or short articles. I’ll write what feels…right.

X Challenge

I only have 1 challenge this month, and it might be a little tough, but I’m going to try!
