New text-to-image DALL·E 2 alternatives (June 2022)
I have worked in the creative business for over 8 years, and I think tools like DALL·E 2 will significantly influence many creative processes. I use alternative tools that have a similar text-to-image principle. I see many professionals using DALL·E 2 as a tool to generate creative resources that can be incorporated into a traditional multi-task workflow. Besides, many stock images can be easily replaced with tools like DALL·E 2 with potentially lower costs.

Speaking of art specifically, I think many new artists will emerge with technology, as we’ve seen in the last 8 years. The “traditional” approach will always remain, but I think we will see many more people interested to know AI art than ever before. Which, in my opinion, is extraordinary The ability to describe one’s imagination in a text understandable to the machine learning model has become a fundamental skill. The artist’s talent is not using digital editing tools, 3D modeling, or texturing, but the words that accurately describe the image.
The written text replaced the hand, years of practice, and natural talent for visualization. Now only your vocabulary limits your creativity.

Words Driven AI Art
Another equally important element that cannot (yet) be replaced by a tool is practical knowledge in the field you are working in. For example, to create images that are identical to photographs, knowledge of the lenses used and the camera settings is essential (see example below).
Artists’ chances of creating have become democratized. The ability to describe your world in words has become a skill that will be appreciated more than in the past. It is no longer about talent but the words you use and the vision you put in them.
Text-To-Image
The ability of humans to create is only limited by our imaginations, so I think the future will be unique. We now have to do better than ever to keep up with machine learning systems and artificial intelligence that will change how we think.
Text-To-Art
AI systems are unpredictable and can contradict our expectations. This is why access to the best is so limited. However, it is worth getting familiar with the new technique for creating text-to-images right now. This makes them hard to understand, but it is also one of the reasons why it fascinates me so much about them.
