Coffee Times Weekly Roundup — 5
Thursday’s picks from here and elsewhere on Medium
So much has been happening at Coffee Times this past week! Exciting stuff! For one thing, I had the joy of monitoring article submissions on Friday and Saturday and will be doing so on all Fridays and Saturdays from now on. It was fun. And I enjoyed the one-on-one interaction with some of the writers.
Then, we have a new column at Coffee Times. Did you know that? It is called Know Thyself and will be helmed by Yana Bostongirl. Please read her post here. I also urge you to respond to the prompt in her post — it is a very timely one for this month and the response has been fantastic!
Saving the best for last, our publication Coffee Times crossed the 1000-follower mark a couple of days ago! And we look forward to seeing continued rapid growth!
Now let’s enjoy this week’s featured picks, shall we?
Do visit, comment, clap generously!
At Coffee Times
Nancy Blackman takes us through her journey of how she learned to be grateful on her terms, which changed her attitude towards life, herself, and others. It is a beautiful read! This line in her post stays with me:
At the end, when you are looking death in the eyes, what will you be grateful for?
In his post, Gaurav Jain talks about his experiments with travel and packs in quite a bit of info while also sharing his dream and his favorite destination.
Jimmy Misner Jr. is one of my favorite writers. He writes insightful posts with incredible takeaways. I recommend visiting his page and browsing. Here’s a wonderful post about what negative emotions can teach us.
In his post, James Beaufait asks — what’s your story? and explores the question, while realizing that life flows through him; it’s not him moving through life.
Close on the heels of the news that Medium has acquired Projector, a Collaborative, Multimedia Design Platform, Ev Williams announced the acquisition of Knowable to bring audio to Medium. Looks like big things are in store!
As you know, Coffee Times publication is not funded by Medium. We exist for the pure joy of supporting fellow writers and growing together. If you would like to support Coffee Times, do consider buying us a coffee here.
