Christian Leaders are Warriors in Real-Time
And with relevant composition and ability

I’ve seen many calm, cool, and collected individuals that when they get in the right place with the Holy Spirit, become warriors. When it’s in Church, it’s always at the altar/pulpit I’ve noticed.
Life is as real as it gets.
These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in My name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.
Mark 16:17–18
What’s funny is, the Holy Spirit will not prompt our openness. The Holy Spirit may inspirit us when He knows our heart is open. But, He will not impede on our decisions, statistically.
I’ve heard many pastors bring this up similarly, as well. They talk about our expectation to be a conduit.
The unpopular theological, spiritual, and Christian thing to say is that God has Special Forces standards.
I’ve known people that had some real divine protection. I’ve known people that packed up their lives and went on the road when they were merely told to leave. For me, I’ve known fewer people know more details than a direction (city). Being given a city is common throughout the Bible and today.
But, God doesn’t stop there!
Just like in boys who grow to be in Special Forces, God develops.
- God gives easy prompts while we begin to work with Him. God did that for me, too.
- Then God removes the easier-to-hear voice at the worst time. This tests us.
- Then we are in jeopardy to be replaced at this time.
Special Forces has an easy way to look at things. They insinuate, “if you can keep up and you are psychologically top-tier, you can come join us. We know who will pass, but we don’t change standards for people, we just calmly let selection be natural like natural selection.”

Special Forces, as David was, men after God’s own heart.
Religiosity and perfection have nothing to do with bringing people to Christ and the capacity to stand up for leadership. Just as a Christian man does not have any leg up on defending his family if a non-Christian man with actual training comes into his home. God is only looking, “The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
Fully committed. Key words.
Fully committed is ONLY seen in Special Forces. The more a church represents those basic principles (in God-established gender-specific strengths), the more spiritually grounded and mature God shows me they are. I’ve never seen a good Christian father who did not showcase Special Forces traits. Never seen it any other way.
- Quick to respond.
- Responds appropriately and with good sense.
- Is Good-Family educated in what he talks about, responds to, etc.
- Doesn’t care what he looks like, walks in confidence. But, will look relevant at church, camping, school, etc.
- Sons and daughters of his follow him.
- Wife subconsciously mimics and quotes him (there are over a dozen Bible verses that clearly speak of unity and this is just one Biblical example). If he is “off” the family will be.
- Is able to speak in all aspects of things that run across their call. Special Forces are experts in communication, technology, foreign religions and different languages, many different weapons and the common problems of each, dress relevant for everything, and proficient in leading in all categories of spiritual gifts — I mean combat strategies.
- Still is able to function when he is tired (being a husband, employee, Christian leader in the church, etc. with a newborn baby).
- Is the first to volunteer in the midst of deadbeats. God loves leadership.
God wants a heart that believes He is
- King of your soul
- Bridegroom of His Church
That simple. There’s nothing more to it.
If God says it, will we
- hear it?
- believe it?
- do it?
Living as Christ is nothing short of Special Forces. The only difference is, God is only looking at the heart. However your heart becomes like David, is what is required. If you have to take a life, literally, will you be all bent out of shape? Will trauma win your heart and mind? Are you a victim? Or will you die like a soldier? A Special Forces Soldier has gained enough confidence to enter a wall of bullets for the God he serves, because he knows God will use this to tell the world about Him — whether God uses divine protection or not. I think Jim Elliot knew was going to perish in Ecuador. I think he knew someone would come after him, after he paved the way. That happened to be his wife. But, God has saved people I personally knew, but only if they were “on the clock” in the mission field.
But, a Special Forces life will not be clean. It will not look pretty to many people, but those people are always cowards in heart who has let God pass them by. Confidence in God does not judge, only sees the person as someone they can operate with. That is the ethics of a 12-year old child. The only person we should judge is us. Special Forces prepares them own selves and lets those not prepared quit or fail. All Special Forces Soldiers have been Special Forces Candidates, adhering to the same standards.
Only weak men give excuses. Special Forces die trying. Goliath blasphemed for a month! David sees it once and says “he needs to die. I’ve done this before, I can do it again in the power of God.”
Special Forces trade is warfare. Your trade is:

The principles are the same. I will see a comparison between you and them.
