The Fight of our Lives

The rich, the poor, and everyone in between

Success, regardless of how anyone determines their success, is dependent upon the fight of their spirit.

If someone thinks that success is a mere happy life, they still have work to do to make that happen. If someone thinks that having a mansion is success, there is a fight to make that happen.

Some find success in just getting past a bad time in their life.

Success is the fight of our lives to meet the basic needs of our life goal(s).

That simple.

If someone is poor, but they want to move out of where they are living, if they want to travel, or if they want a better home, their fight is going to be hard.

Now let’s take someone who is already there — someone who was poor who did end up traveling the world. If someone is traveling for a living and that’s what they’ve always wanted to do, what would their new goal be? Would they have one? Would traveling be enough to live forever? For this scenario, let’s say it’s not enough. If someone has met their goal but they lost fight in their spirit, they are like a wounded male lion after a territorial loss.

The Fight

Success can happen to anyone. It all comes down to the fight. If someone has the spirit to fight or not.

If you have a the ruthless fighting spirit you are going to do just fine. Might not have everything you want, but who does? Billionaires probably wish they didn’t have to sell their souls every day, themselves. They knew in the beginning they would have to, but for how long, it’s been 10 years?? Some have buried themselves so far that they have asked their spouse to help lure a client. Just 5 years later, their marriage is a sinking boat. They just wanted passive income, but they didn’t know in the beginning that 50% of the people that they hire will be crap employees. And market change, supply prices change, supplier’s go under. It’s a mess.

When we say fight, we mean, get your gloves on and anticipate the smashing of life into you. Think of it as hockey. Everyone who does well plays hockey. Glove up.

Anyone who can gather up some fight can make it.

Homeless? Doesn’t matter, just find out what you need to do and do it.

Have a mansion, but nothing is going as planned? Same thing. Get your hands bloody with work.

Single mother with two jobs? First thing to do is find ethical support who can take some burdens. Then you will manage to navigate better employment ladders. It’s just a fact of life that if your boat is gone and your holding kids up, you have no extra hands and doors. To those who aren’t helping single mothers who can’t get ahead: Please help them, just babysit free twice a month.

What if we Lose the Fight?

Losing the spirit to fight looks like quitting, depression, and entering prison.

As anyone who has quit their dream, went through clinical depression, or been through prison can tell you, to get back the grit or to obtain the grit they never had is nearly impossible. They have to get passed their past symptoms and triggers. It’s like cleaning a greasy pan with a greasy rag, but it must be done.

Two of greatest risks

  • losing grit
  • fear

Someone can make it to the top of the ladder, but their brain will play tricks on them when they see others “passing” them. Their spirit could die.

Find your fuel. Never allow lethargy to set in, to root. Go skydiving if you ever feel that way. In no way am I kidding. That is one of the cheapest ways to obtain a massive thrill and adrenaline rush.

Navigation

Success also has to do with navigating continual change. As I mentioned in this article, all successful people navigate this one thing. That one thing is:

  • Change

When you have a fighting spirit and you can navigate change, you are going to be one top gun, son of a gun. Now the only thing you need is two more pieces of the success pie ingredients, financial management & literacy and research & implementation.

In conclusion

The fight in your spirit is your success results. This is the first pie ingredient.

When we lose out on success due to psychological factors, then we also have to deal with that. If we have psychological factors already we will have to deal with that before we excel in the other three.
