I almost missed one.

More than a week ago, I faced a crucial dilemma. I didn’t know what to do because it concerned someone I loved dearly and who should love me back. Someone I was kind to and risked my life for twice. My final decision was drastic, and I prayed and waited on God to help me or show me a sign that I was making the wrong decision.

As the deadline edged closer, I ran out of choices. In frustration, I took a walk which was therapeutic for me. A few minutes into my journey, I tripped and almost fell. My reflex saved me as my head unconsciously tilted upwards.

That was when I saw an X in the sky. I stared at it in shock.

Was this God’s way of telling me my decision was wrong?

I stared at the X in the sky, listening and looking for the jet that made that sign. I didn’t see or hear anything. I took pictures, then turned back. The X followed me for a while until it melted into the clouds.

I asked God, “is this your way of telling me what I am about to do is wrong?

It was.
