The act of believing in something is the act of forgoing questioning. Why question that which is absolute in our minds? To partake in the act of belief is to remove your duty in seeking the ‘truth’.

People choose to believe in any number of concepts, from religious doctrines to scientific ‘truth’.

To believe is to remove responsibility for the actions taken.

This is not to say that there are no inherent truths in religion and science or whatever else. But the act of belief removes any judgment to be placed upon them.

To not question is to stop moving, to question is to challenge what you see, for it tests the validity.

Belief invokes blind allegiance; you show trust without the other having to show a framework of support. What happens, be it good or be it bad is just excepted and ignorance takes its place.

To question is harder than to believe, to question requires confidence to step into the unknown and be judged, for you might be right or you might be wrong.

But the point is neither to be right nor wrong but, to find validity in that that is in front.

Questioning is a powerful thing; empires can be toppled but with only a single question. The basic question to ask is the question of why it opens the floodgates of discovery and for what is to come.

Questions make you discover; belief makes you hide.

The powers at be want you to believe, for it turns you ignorant, becoming a sheep that follows. What an easy way to get the masses to do what they say. Their interest does not lie with you but to themselves, to question is to threaten their false authority.

Power does not lie with the few but with the many.

To question is to show power, listen to the questioned asked, they help to expose that which needs to be seen.

Do not just believe in what you hear, ask questions, discover the answers, and see if they match up to what is being spoken.
