A Skyscraper View of The World: Your Favorite Photos and Travel Memories
Share them here at Globetrotters

Dear Globetrotters Community,
I hope you are doing well! A lot of us have been struggling lately, including me. Sometimes it’s difficult to keep up momentum when at times the deck seems stacked against us, however, maintaining optimism is the key. A lot of changes have taken place over the last year, but one thing remains the same: heartfelt personal expression and wanting to connect with readers are at the heart of what we all do.
Ride the changes we must and hopefully we will all make it to the other side better than what we were before! And hopefully we won’t all lose our minds before getting there.
This month’s challenge here at Globetrotters is all about skyscrapers.
When thinking about skyscrapers, most of us of course think of huge cities, where skyscrapers are typically found. New York City is perhaps the most iconic. I loved living near NYC for a few years and being able to travel in to “the city” whenever I got the yen.
I first visited the concrete jungle when I was a mere nineteen years old. Full of energy and blind optimism. Just walking around and gawking at the buildings is a treat itself.

Here in Trinidad and Tobago, my expat home of nearly two years now, several tall and magnificent buildings can be found. Not sure if they can be counted as skyscrapers exactly, but they are still rather impressive.
I love them as I love this country. My new home.
Such buildings are true modern marvels of structural engineering. A test of man’s ingenuity and a quest to reach to the heavens and tease the sky above.

Feel free to share your own memories and photos. Please note that the end date of the challenge will be June 27th this month. This will ensure that we have time to read your stories since so many people wait until the last minute to submit.
Hey, I’m often a procrastinator myself so no worries. It happens.
Oh, and don’t forget to consult our writer’s guidelines and photo policy to make sure your story meets our qualifications.
