7 Thanksgiving Dinner Aphrodisiacs
Your Turkey Day meal is sexier than you may think

Thanksgiving is a wonderful celebration of the things in our lives that we’re grateful for and one of those things, of course, is the delicious meal we share with our loved ones. We generally associate our Thanksgiving feast with stuffing ourselves like the turkey on our table, and then drifting off to sleep in a tryptophan-induced coma. But did you know that some of the ingredients in your Thanksgiving dinner can actually make you horny? The following are some common Thanksgiving foods that are considered aphrodisiacs with qualities that will get you hot and bothered.
The smell of pumpkin pie alone is enough to arouse men….
Cranberry Sauce
If you’re a fan of that red jiggly sauce on your table, you may find a boost in your sex drive this Thanksgiving. That’s because cranberries are rich in vitamin C, which is important for the functioning of our sex glands. In addition, it has vitamin A, which is associated with the performance of the circulatory and reproductive systems.
Sweet Potatoes
Whether you like them candied as a sweet side that accompanies your turkey or baked into a pie, sweet potatoes can boost fertility and the production of cervical fluid thanks to their vitamin A. Also, sweet potatoes help to reduce stress because they’re packed with potassium, further creating the conditions for romance.
Pumpkin Pie
If pumpkin pie is your Thanksgiving dessert of choice, you’ll have much more to be grateful for than its taste. In fact, the smell of pumpkin pie alone is enough to arouse men because it significantly increases the blood flow to the penis. The zinc in pumpkin also helps to boost the flow of blood throughout the body, as well as the production of testosterone.
And if you make pumpkin pie from scratch, don’t forget to roast the seeds. Pumpkin seeds are known for their ability to help boost testosterone, improve prostate function, and increase the production of the feel-good hormones that can make people happy enough to get frisky.

Chocolate affects both the heart and the loins, making it the perfect food for romance.
Garlic
If you’re one to put fresh garlic in your stuffing or mashed potatoes, the compound known as allicin is associated with increased blood flow in the body — including blood to your sexual organs, which can trigger your desire. However, in order to reap the benefits of this tasty ingredient, you need to use it on a regular basis. In addition, garlic can increase testosterone and sexual stamina.
Asparagus
Although this phallic-shaped vegetable is commonly associated with making our urine smell funny, it can also enhance our sexual arousal and orgasm because it has vitamin B6 and folate. Also, asparagus can further intensify our desire because of its vitamin E, which helps to stimulate our sex hormones.
Chocolate
Of course chocoholics aren’t going to get through Thanksgiving dinner without adding their favorite sweet ingredient to the mix. And they will reap several sexual rewards from chocolate when they do: Chocolate affects both the heart and the loins, making it the perfect food for romance. This is because chocolate increases the production of serotonin, a chemical in the brain that is associated with higher levels of arousal and overall happiness. Also, chocolate contains phenylethylamine, which is a chemical similar to the ones our brain releases when we fall in love.
Figs
Figs don’t just look like a woman’s sexual organs when you cut them in half, they also have amino acids that can raise your sexual stamina. In addition, the vitamin A in figs increases the functioning of your circulatory and reproductive systems.
