As you have already seen throughout this platform, many share their amazing monetary achievements…well it will not mainly be the case for me. Instead, I would like to share my new endeavors and what I have learned from this last month.
Firstly I would like to mention and share some pieces where I play with different writing forms and genres.
Katie Michaelson hosted a new prompt for Halloween called “The Witching Hour” and since I love this season, I had to participate. And thanks to the encouragement of also Karen Schwartz…it has become a mini-series! I am so thrilled and fortunately, I have had a lot of positive feedback. It was also my first attempt to try some fiction stories while adding some suspense! I hope you like it…the end is almost coming!
A new surprise occurred! I thought it would be something too far to garner but…I am now an editor in The Coffee Times! I would like to thank Winston who has given me this amazing opportunity. There is a new travel series which I host. I hope you guys stop by! There are so many other amazing people giving their all in what they do. I’m glad to be part of the team with Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Yana Bostongirl, Dr. Preeti Singh, Drashti Shroff, and Marrisa W.
Another poetry form I wanted to try out was acrostic poems. I would like to thank Michael Hall who kindly accepted it and KSHernandez for her lovely words!
The next poetry form was Sijos, I wanted it to be a rather “funny” version. But maybe it isn’t? :-P This piece has the least interaction but I loved to experiment with something new and it's perfect for these upcoming festivities.
And yes, another poem. This one is a tanka! Have you guys noticed I love poetry? These are the first three forms I wandered with, there is so much more! I am still learning to make them more impactful though.
And if you guys would like to read about stats…well…I am here to hopefully not disappoint you. I first thought that I had even less monetary gain from last month but I was wrong. For the views and reads stats, I also had a light gain but I do have to admit that in approximately one week, I was not that active here. You can easily see where in the graph below.
Goals for next month
I would like to have a better organization and perfect the quality of my pieces.
I would love to read more and more pieces and engage with other fellow writers.
I would like to be way more productive here on Medium and therefore write every single day…even if it's just to share a thought, idea, or a quick reflection.
If we talk about stats, for November, having 555 followers would be awesome, I just like that number in Italien lol…Do any of you know it? I love the pronunciation.
Talking about money…maybe I would aim for 20 bucks? I know it's not that big of a jump but it is a possible goal.
The last goal may sound super superficial…but I would like to have 1k claps on a piece…it would be another booster which will for sure motivate me even more.
These may be simple “muggle” goals for some but I think I need to pace myself and get to know what I can do. I hope you also do too!
