Joy and happiness are just shining around the corner Cheer for loved ones you had not been able to see in a long time Gratitude thrives as everyone joins in on the festivities
A not so pleasant and appreciative Sijo
You can't believe it…Is it already that time of the year? Noisy family members wanting to know your good and bad Awkward conversations will awkwardly follow along
Do I really feel this way? Maybe…But I just loved that maybe we can feel both ways. I must announce that of course, these festivities that are yet to come are to appreciate what we have and what we have become…and more because of the global situation that has lasted..how long?…forever? In spite of the situation, we are still here and we still have loved ones by our side but...
Can I call myself a social butterfly but also socially awkward? Hehe, I may be losing it right now, so here was my first attempt at this new format, a new method of poetry. I hope you guys liked it and please do tell me if you have ever felt this way too. I hope I’m not alone lol
According to the website of MasterClass, under the section Writing, a Sijo is a three-line poem each with about 14–16 syllables, for a total syllable count of 44–46.
