Your Journey Through the Landscapes of Life Starts Here

An unfolding philosophy that reveals the power of nature and landscape and how it shapes our lives

Nature is my temple. It was the place I first made sense of life and the world. It began on my first mountain at ten years old and has only grown from there.

In my twenties, I worked for Outward Bound where a key teaching philosophy was to “let the mountains speak for themselves.”

This powerful philosophy cautioned against overtalking an experience. Instead, let the mountain reveal its wisdom over time, much like my first mountain at age ten still speaks to me.

But we must also first learn to speak the language of landscape. It is a language of observation and silence, not of words. Landscape communicates in subtle and profound ways.

I have been writing on my experiences in observing and learning the language of landscape. This article links to this growing philosophy.
