Your Fragile And Beautiful Life
Thank You Notes #46

“Snowflakes are one of nature’s most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together.” ― Vesta M. Kelly
As I write this on a rainy Monday afternoon; it seems like an ordinary day, awaiting spring. Yet there is a celebration today.
It is our wedding anniversary!
There is something to bring a bright smile on a dark day. I made a cake to celebrate this occasion sparkling with hope and color.
At our wedding, a lovely friend made our wedding cake. We wanted everyone to have a big piece of cake, not just those thin slices usually served.

Like the candy glass shards on this cake, life can sometimes be very fragile, as we have come to see day by day. However, hope is always around the corner and shines in the darkest corners right through the window.

When life breaks into tiny pieces, we can join together to make a beautiful sculpture. Please know there is always light at the end of an ordeal.
In our marriage, we have been through both joy and heartache. We stand together united to face it all.

Whether we cry through the pain or laugh at a funny moment, we can gather the strength to enjoy every instant.
Life is always beautiful whether it appears that way or not. It is what we make of every shard that makes the difference. Be strong, resilient, and hopeful today.

My wish for you today is that you shine bright and sparkle whatever this moment brings you. We are all here to gather together to create the mosaic of life.
This week’s theme is:
A Fragile Moment You are Grateful For in Life
I look forward to your articles, essays, and poems on this theme.
There are never any deadlines here at Thank You Notes.
Let us give a warm welcome to our many new writers:
A big shout out to my fellow editors who work tirelessly every day to edit and publish beautiful stories here at Thank You Notes. Lorena of Sharing Randomly and Ellie Jacobson. You both are amazing!
A loving note from Trista:
I appreciate each one of you here with all my heart. I enjoyed my first week at my new job last week and it has opened my heart wider.
I see so many possibilities opening up both in the world of food and writing.
Today there was a gentleman who asked for fresh baked goods. It is not something we currently offer, but I am going to ask my manager about it. Perhaps this is a whisper from the universe!
Thank you all for your friendship, patience, and love every day,
Trista
