Swinging Delight

That place Spring when Sun shines

Springtime is Swing time, Photo/edit by Monoreena

It is spring again. The earth is like child that knows poems by heart— Rainer Maria Rilke

Now I have time to sit on my swing It’s that time of the year, When the sun shines, and the birds sing Wintry nip leaves the air.

My path strewn with leaves so dry I walk on them and they cry, Telling tales of leaves all fallen — Blending notes of memories forgotten.

Dianthus, hyacinth, pansies alike, Nature’s palette with hues strike, Signalling adios to season gone by Ushering in the days of delight.

That chirpy angel sits on the bough Singing tunes to the passing breeze, Baby greens soaking in the morning grin — And you know that Spring is in!

Author’s Note: “Is the spring coming?” she said. “What is it like?”… “It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine…” ― Frances Hodgson Burnett

What can be a better imagery to imagine when its time to slowly come out of your long hibernation and smell the air outside.Yes, its spring in the air, which I hope to find in my feet and fingers hopefully ,soon.

Looking forward to a rivetting, exciting and challenging spring and summer and expecting to survive the chaos I created for myself this time, and one quote that’s really speaking to me right now, are in the words of Leo Tolstoy,“Spring is the time of plans and projects.”

Thank you, Trista Signe Ainsworth, Ellie Jacobson, Sharing Randomly, and Thank You Notes for the Spring prompt, which made me remember a poem gathering some brown leaves in my journal. You helped it see green!
