You Will Soon Be Able to Play Dungeons & Dragons in Minecraft
A Dungeons & Dragons DLC was announced during the D&D Direct live stream for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Minecraft fans rejoice as the popular sandbox game is about to get a major update to bring Dungeons & Dragons to life.
Recently announced during the D&D Direct live stream on Tuesday, the upcoming DLC pack will feature a range of new content that includes themed tilesets, locations, enemies, and a ten-hour narrative adventure set in the Forgotten Realms.
One of the most interesting things about the new DLC pack is that it will include actual D&D objects such as books, dice, board games, and a DM screen.
The trailer includes a pizza box, which adds a fun touch of realism to the game. But the DLC isn’t just about adding tangible objects to Minecraft, as it also features a range of classic fantasy elements that will make the game even more exciting to play.
According to the announcement, the DLC will include five iconic locations from the Forgotten Realms: Candlekeep and Icewind Dale. There’s even a shot of the Underdark, which will add some intrigue to the game.
Players will be able to choose from four different character classes: barbarian, paladin, wizard, or rogue, and will be able to customize their stats and roll 20-sided dice to determine how to proceed in fully-voiced dialogue.
But what would a Dungeons & Dragons game be without some classic beasts? Thankfully, the DLC has plenty of those, with a range of creatures from the D&D universe making an appearance.
Players can expect to encounter displacer beasts, beholders, gelatinous cubes, and mimics (because why not?). Including these classic creatures will add an extra level of excitement to the game.
For fans of playing D&D on the tabletop, the DLC pack will also include a Monstrous Compendium on D&D Beyond, which features creatures from the Minecraft universe, including Creepers and Endermen.
This is a great addition for players who love Minecraft and D&D and will allow them to seamlessly integrate both worlds.
The new DLC pack is expected to be released soon and will require Minecraft: Bedrock Edition to run. This means that players who want to experience the new content will need to have the appropriate version of Minecraft installed on their devices.
