A free verse about life
If paintings could talk in the language of butterflies what thoughts would you abandon?
If we all lived in tree houses and had breakfast with baby flamingoes what would your first thought be when you wake up?
…and your last thought before you go to bed?
If we had to jump two times every time we meet a friend would you still say “how are you?”
If you had to stretch your hands, twist your body, breathe deep nine times, and smile for nine seconds before every meal, would your hunger be any different?
If you could choose your thoughts and turn then into colors what picture would you paint?
If you could breathe in water and take a lunch box with you what fish would you feed?
If it rained for fifteen days and you had to stay home what stories would you write?
If you could float in the air for eighteen seconds would you feed the birds more often?
If windows could block light would you still use curtains?
If you could write in your mind and color those words who would you send those messages to?
If turtles would dance every time it rained what color umbrella would you choose to see the show?
