Illusion to Power

A free verse about seeing beyond…

Doors — they open and close, so you can let in what you want, and block what you don’t.

Just like doors our cell walls have receptors that open and close.

Our brain generate thoughts and those thoughts generate emotions.

There are doors between thoughts and emotions.

Mastery of these doors lead us to consciousness.

Do we practice using these doors… so we may expand in consciousness?

We don’t see with our eyes. We don’t hear with our ears.

We see and hear with our minds.

Through consciousness, we hear better. See better.

Do things happen to us? Or, happen for us?

What sound is the color red?

What color is the cry of a whale?

Can we hear colors? And see sounds?

Practice. Practice. Practice the art of using those doors so we can dance with the wind surf the tides and move mountains.

We are not our identity.

We can sense beyond what we see what we hear what we feel.

Past through illusions lies our deepest power of perception.

Then, perhaps we can all become gods.
