Why writing on the Medium is the best way to get your opinions out there
I believe all started writing on Medium to share your opinions in common elements with the world. At least this is the reason I started. After that, I started thinking about money. This (Never was my intention) Medium try many times (throwing my the partner program) in front of my eyes all the time reading an article.
So how it was apparent, I joined.
Then the thoughts start to come about money and how it will make me 1000$ per month and trust me. I have an excellent salary. What items can buy with that money or payments can make, which I couldn’t.
I started writing, I see my 1st article. (Still has the same views) it made me 0.02 Cents.
My first reaction was (What buls@#t is this) how can you make a 1000$ with that rate? Of course, you cant. Medium is a business also. They try to make funds from you and within you. How is that possible? Of course, with the subscription and the partner program, whoever makes serious cash, I’m sure they take some % off or run ads. They’re company and company need to increase capital for sustainability proposes, and it’s obvious. If I was in the same position, I’ve done the same.

The other problem with Medium is the population. Medium has over-saturated articles.
How many articles can you find with the same title as mine? With a fast search, I found 5 in front of my eyes. What difference can i possibly give from the other articles? The truth is not many. Neither the others and others after me, who come with the same title. Because it is a subject that not so many solutions can be found.
To be successful in Medium, you have to do 1–2 things.
Is Medium nice to read and write because? Again, 1–2 things.
The only way you can make it through the masses is to discover something extraordinary.
Example.
A Breakthrough on COVID.
You will tell me now if you find something on COVID, you will post it in Medium? Of course, not. That’s the point.
With the self-help or solutions about money.
Only when you find the exact solution to be given, for example, if you do 5 push-ups every morning and say these words, you will have 1000$ and actually do. Only then can your article be genuine.
But this cannot happen because it doesn’t work that way, and money doesn’t work that way either.
Now to answer the question about money.
Can you make money on Medium? The answer is complicated. Yes and No.
If you are a part-time writer and have a regular job, the answer is probably not! Because of the time.
If you don’t have a regular job and you stay at home. Suppose you have a good imagination too, yes. In that case, you can write 1–2 articles or stories call however you want and put them in Medium.
You will not have immediate benefits.
But I have good news for you.
If you work like this for at least 6 months — 1 year, probably yes.
Some day you will have that 1000$ per month.
Now, why Medium is an excellent place to write.
Because of this population, your articles and stories can be seen by many people.
For example.
You really want to give your opinion about something. It is a beautiful place to start with, even if it’s written well can be on trends.
Publications can help with that.
People, writers & readers can help you with that.
The other ways are more expensive.
Only if you make a blogger, which is free. The other ways need money too.
You have to pay Medium also to write yes, but you don’t really have to set your site like the other more expensive solutions. You start and write with 2 Clicks! (literally)
Now is it worth it to start and write?
The answer depends on you.
Do you really want to write and pass your opinion? Or you want to make money?
