Last week I gave older gentlemen a sweet shout out. So, this week, I decided to turn the spotlight onto the younger studs.

As mentioned in my previous blog, I am 37, have dated most of my adult life, and have lots of experience dating all types of men.

Like the response received regarding dating older gentlemen, my girlfriends would say, “Ew, dating guys younger is weird. They are too inexperienced, and we have nothing in common. No way.”

Of course, I disagree with this closed-minded assumption. Just because they are younger and inexperienced doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. So, I decided to list five reasons I love dating guys 10–15 years my junior.

Take control

If you are a woman who enjoys planning, organizing, and telling others what to do, this might be just the relationship for you.

Most of the younger guys I dated were open to letting me lead. They were happy that I was willing to go out with them. They would say, “whatever you want, I’ll be there.”

Planning a date with a younger guy can be a lot of fun!

You can go skating, get drunk and skinny dip in the lake, or drink cheap wine while belting out your favorite songs in a grassy park. I loved these types of dates with a younger guy. I felt so alive, and there was no judgement. I was totally free!
