5 Signs He’s Really Into You
Telltale signs he is really digging your vibe

Persistence
If a guy is constantly attempting to make plans to see you, he is totally into you. Now, this doesn’t mean he doesn’t wanna fuck, but there is definitely interest in something. Is it sex, a few dates, or a relationship? You need to figure out what it is exactly.
Six weeks before I left the US for Asia, a young man (let’s call him Bartender Guy) approached and asked for my number. He saw me drinking alone at the bar and decided he wanted to get my digits. I told him he was wasting time because I was leaving for Asia soon. But he was persistent; he thought I was intriguing and wanted to take me out.
Eventually, I gave in. A girl gotta eat. :)
Body Language
If you are on a date, and he mirrors you, he is totally into you. For those unaware, mirroring is when he matches your body language, voice, or words (basically a copycat). For example, when I was on my date with Bartender Guy, he unconsciously mirrored my behavior; I closely studied him.
When I placed my elbow on the table, he also put his elbow on the table. When I leaned in, he leaned in. When I took a sip of my drink, seconds later, he took a sip of his drink. It was totally cute, and I could tell he was deeply interested in what I had to say. This leads to my next point…
Genuine Interest
If your date shows genuine interest in getting to know you, that is a good sign. For example, your date asks deep and thoughtful questions and allows you to speak. This shows genuine interest in knowing you: your likes, dislikes, goals, and aspirations. Your date might also ask about your childhood, family, hobbies, etc.
Guys who are not into you or that only want sex are not interested in your life goals; their conversation is shallow, self-centered, and dull. They may cut you off or not ask any follow-up questions. Basically, they want the date to end so that you can invite them into your apartment for a late-night snack…if you get my drift.
Prompt Follow Up
After your date, if he follows up promptly (and ignores the no contact for 2 days game), he is interested in you. Bartender Guy texted me almost immediately and said: I really had a great time getting to know you. You are an amazing woman, and I would love to see you again very soon.
Side note: Bartender Guy was only 23 years old (I am 37). I know, I know, total cougar (growl).
Generally, if the date did not go well or the guy isn’t into you, he will ghost you, not follow up, or only contact you late at night for a booty call. These men want to bypass the chit-chat and bar tab and jump right into the sheets. Please recognize this fuckboy behavior and block and delete them. You are more than a Booty Call List.
Planning the Future
This is a big one; if he is already making plans for a second or third date — he’s definitely feeling your vibe. This is a good sign that he sees a future with you. This could also mean he wants to spend more time with you to see if there is potential for more.
But be careful here; make sure you don’t drop your drawers too soon. Make him work for it, and make sure he follows through on your next dates. Leave the ball in his court, and don’t act thirsty. A confident, intelligent woman is never thirsty. Go on about your business, and let him find you. You got this!
