Here’s Why I Think We Need to Reinvent Ourselves.

I present my brief point of view on the necessity of reinventing oneself.

Note: This is my shortest article for a publication that only accepts stories under 500 words. I normally write longer pieces.

People around me pose questions like why I keep trying new hacks all the time and take a considerable amount of risk in my life. My simple answer is to reach the better versions of myself by continuously reinventing myself.

As I find new meanings in my life, the changes I plan become naturally inevitable. Everything in life, except the change, keeps changing, so we must adapt to the constant change. Instead of random or ad hoc changes, I prefer making planned changes. Creating planned changes gives me a delightful sense of control over my destiny.

Considering the limits of my mind and body and their capacity at a given time, I make a conscious effort to increase the physical and mental load incrementally.

As I learn and try new things, each increment causes some positive change and helps me re-invent new versions of myself. For example, over the last decade, I experienced multiple versions of myself and immensely enjoyed each version.

As an investor in my profession, reinvention is an ongoing process in my personal life too. I am assuming for you too.

Reinvention occurs in my occupation, hobbies, relationships, creativity, physical posture, flexibility, speed, strength, sleep quality, stress tolerance, physical endurance, communications, and several other life aspects.

Understanding the message of my feelings and my emotions, recurring thought patterns aligned with controlled logic, and disciplined stoicism help me migrate from a comfort zone to a well-designed and transformed stretch zone. You can check my zones in this article.

I keep looking inside out and outside in to understand what touches me at what level, what inspires me, and what influences me. Learning more and knowing more about myself each day through trial and error can also help me re-create my newer versions. More information on how I keep reinventing myself can be found in several articles submitted to my new publication.

How do you reinvent yourself?
