This is a prevalent statement that we usually use, and I am baffled between my mind and hearts, a continues fight is going in them.

It’s a common occurrence because of that; we struggle with our decisions.

I can’t tell why you all are struggling? But I have reached some conclusions by checking my mind behaviour.

From the last few years, I have observed my mind’s behaviour towards situations, and it’s bizarre.

That it is confused about everything, only in certain situations it’s very much evident. Otherwise, there is always continuous thought to fight inside.

Why is this happening?

The reason is quite simple; you know that we all go through different phases of life, childhood, teen, adult, mature and old age.

In all these phases, we learn different things, and they are different in every aspect, you must know this same idea does not apply to all stages of life.

The reason is that every phase has its requirements, and even your face and body size changes in every stage of life. The same goes for your mentality.

Those things which are essential in childhood have no value in adulthood, and the same goes for other aspects.

You can relate this, some of you loved watching animes in childhood, but when you reached a certain age you stopped watching animes, why?

Only because now you don’t like them anymore or maybe your memory has lost that sense of humour with time?

What is the importance of memory in decision making?

We learn a lot of things these things become our memory with time. And whenever we want to make any decisions, we just use these memories consciously and unconsciously.

These memories are gained because of so many things, and they decide everything in your life, like what you want to eat and what you don’t want to eat — the kind of music you want to listen and movies you want to watch.

These all depend on what kind of memories you have? In simple words, your memories affect your choices.

Those memories which have a profound impact on you never fades, and those who have the least impact on you vanished with time.

That’s the reason, you are still suffering some of your childhood memories because they have a deep impact on you.

Like, if someone is eating non-veg from childhood and you try to convince him for leaving non-veg by showing the wrong side of non-veg eating, he’ll not buy that, Even though he knows you have offered a good piece of advice to him and it’s good for him. Still, he’ll struggle with leaving non-veg. Why?

The reason is he has memories of eating non-veg from childhood, and you cannot erase those memories, it’s impossible, it’s not like movies if you hit someone on his head his memories go away, lol.

In the same way, you have developed a lot of memories by different events that have occurred in your life, and now you call them your experience.

Based on all those memories, you make your decisions and decides what is wrong for you, and what is right?

Every memory that you have developed has a deep impression on your mind. Whenever you try to do something or want to take any decision, these memories act as the source of information.

By processing that information, your mind takes decisions.

Now, How many varieties of memories you have?

It depends on what sort of things you have done in your life. If you have done a few things than you have a limited amount of memories, on the other hand, if you have done, you have lots of memories.

So, these memories that you have got by doing a lot of different things, some by eating food, playing, travelling, fights among people, listening music, watching videos, some by bitter things that happened in your life. And lots of other things are responsible for your memory.

Each second, you are acquiring new memories by all your senses.

Having a lot of memories is not a problem, but when you have a lot of bad memories, your life becomes miserable because you suffer them all the time.

So, the problem is with memories, and you need to control these memories. Getting rid of them is not quite possible.

Controlling your memories is not quite possible for all, but replacing them with time is possible.

Don’t think it’s not possible. Because if you know the working of your mind, then you can handle a lot of things very quickly.

How can you control these memories?

Can you do this by doing the following things?

  1. By changing your habits.
  2. By Formulating Positive affirmations and spirituality.

Now, you know that your experiences become your memories, and after that, your memories become your experiences.

So, you need to understand this because most people get trapped in small things.

First, they experience some terrible situations, and later they end up not doing anything.

You need to fix this; if you don’t fix it, later it’ll only turn you into a shallow being.

This thing is profound because you have gained all these memories with time and time never stops; it keeps changing.

And, if you have a pleasant amount of experience of life than you know that “Nothing is permanent on this planet”, even your problems.

Things come and Go

If you get aware of this that nothing is permanent things back to normal again then for sure, you will start enjoying everything. Only because you are giving too much importance to what has happened in the past, you are suffering.

The only way to control your memories is, awareness, because if you are well aware of what you think, then you surely can control your actions and decisions.

As it’s very basic that everything starts with thoughts.

Most of us are not aware of this, and they just fall into continuous loops of memories and waste a lot of time for nothing And suffers all their bad memories each day.

As I have said, awareness can help you in handling your memories, how will you develop this awareness?

Awareness can only be achieved only by knowing your true-self and able to hold the consciousness of that.

In many posts, I am continuously trying to explain the fundamentals of human nature — the social mixture of two dimensions.

  1. The physical body ( Made of flesh and bones)
  2. Energy body ( Soul)

Once you know that you are an energy body, not a physical shape, then you can control your memories because the soul is the operator of this body.

As a soul, you control your mind, intellect and your actions if you reach beyond that than you’ll be able to manage your thoughts as well, but partially.

The fundamental fact that you need to know is, your thoughts do not provide you with correct information always, sometimes they trick you.

Because you are not aware of what you possibly can think? That’s why your mind is continuously fooling you.

It is the most important thing that a person must know what he can think, in term of life and other factors.

Why it’s important? Because if you are not aware of what you can think? It’s possible that every thought coming to your mind, you’ll assume it to be yours.

Sometimes thoughts come out of situations and sometimes thought comes out of fear, and because of various other reasons.

If you can develop that awareness of self, then it’ll be easier for you to differentiate between your thoughts and thoughts out of situations.

Because you need not to think , what kind of situation you are in, instead of that you need to think about what kind of situation you want to be in.

Once you achieve your awareness, your mind will lead you towards happiness and bliss automatically.

when you are on the right track, happiness and peace come your way to serve you.

I hope you are getting this, it requires time to relinquish that consciousness, it’s a long term process, and you need to dedicate yourself fully.

You need to jot down your thoughts that you are getting and that you want to think.

Try to replace your old thoughts by repeating new ideas that you want to think. It works 100% because this was done with you since your childhood, just try to recall, you’ll able relate for I am sure.

I want to you to know this, the reason for all kinds of conflicts inside you are the memories you have, whether it is, love, anxiety, sadness, and other feelings you have, all are the creation of your memories.

If you can understand this then you can control them, and the fight between in your mind and heart is nothing, you are just assuming it’s occurring because you don’t know what you can think for yourself?

And you are not reaching at conclusions you need to take a decision for yourself and work on it.

The other way to overcome memories?

You can relate this to above mentioned, but in this, you only need to overthink, if you are not getting soul parts than it’s okay.

So, you can just start by writing some positive thoughts for yourself, like; I am a peaceful being, I am a powerful being, I love my life, and I am free from my memories.

You need to repeat these thoughts many times a day because you have done the same with your bad memories.

You are just repeating them from years, so now they have permanent space in your mind and intellect.

Once, you start repeating these positive affirmations, and they will create new vibrations in your mind and body. Later your brain will get filled with positive energy, and you’ll automatically get rid of old memories.

It’s same as when you continue to pour pure water into a glass of impure water, in the end, it gets filled with the pure water, and dirt gets out of it.

And once you attain the stability of mind, you can make better decisions for yourself and others.

The only thing you need to do is just change your thoughts. everything will automatically get changed in your life.

It’s not about real situations, they’ll remain as they are, but once you have changed your state of mind, you’ll easily overcome anything.

So, stay positive and stay blessed.
