What is the Essence of Life?

A Poetic Pondering

Just like seasons, people come and people go, leaving nothing in their wake but messages and memories. Some people entering your life will come for a reason, with such an impression you will for life reminisce.

People support you in your growing, some push you low, imprinting lessons that stay with you for a lifetime. Some are here to guide you, some will hurt you. But, your life continues in spite of their presence or absence.

Love, hurt, sadness, anger, joy, and happiness … It is important to imbibe every emotional experience. Each will touch your life in its own unique way, embed them all for these are moments you can’t relive.

All life is beautiful, a precious gift, and so are you. Do not waste any minute by accumulating regrets. Instead, lead your life by seizing the present moment, making fond memories by cherishing all happenings.

Life becomes simple when we learn to live in the present, where you add meaning to your life the way you want it to be. Each of us can find a purpose, such as in procreation, or in creating diversity in an otherwise pretty boring universe.

If you look for life’s essence in a metaphysical sense, then that’s for my musing where it gets interesting … I love the possibility to enrich (through) my essence, being as one, interconnected, and belonging to it all.

With that, in my mind, a vision begins to emanate, that shows me a cosmos – in spite of its marvelous beauty – still somewhat limited and even repetitious in its variety; this is for me, where the essence of life kicks in.

Like an evolving miracle of never before seen shapes, new thoughts and ideas, unprecedented dreams of realities. A constant emerging of unlimited creativity and possibilities … Life as such might well be the essence of an evolving universe ….

So what is the essence of life after all? To beat to a rhythm where I can think once more. To find again that belief that I deserve to soar, Like I essentially do right now, once more.
