Here’s an explanation of the wildly popular game Destiny 2.

In a couple of previous stories, I spoke about gaming news relating to the wildly popular game called Destiny 2. In this post, I will explain why Destiny 2 is so popular and what it is.

What is Destiny 2?

Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It is the sequel to Destiny, which was released in 2014. Destiny 2 was released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

The game is set in a fictional universe where players take on the role of a Guardian, a protector of humanity, and fight against various enemy races to save the last city on Earth.

The gameplay of Destiny 2 is primarily focused on shooting and looting. Players can choose from different classes, each with their own unique abilities and playstyle.

The three classes are Titan, Hunter, and Warlock. Titans are heavily armored and excel in close combat, Hunters are agile and specialize in ranged combat, and Warlocks are masters of magic and support their teams with powerful abilities.

The game is divided into various modes: campaign, strikes, raids, and PvP (player versus player).

The campaign is a story-driven mode where players go on a quest to defeat the game’s main antagonist, Dominus Ghaul, who has taken control of the Traveler. This powerful entity grants Guardians their abilities.

Strikes are cooperative missions that can be completed with two other players, while raids are more challenging missions that require a team of six players to complete.

PvP modes include various game types, such as Control, where teams compete to capture and hold points on a map, and Survival, where players have limited lives and must eliminate the opposing team to win.

One of the unique aspects of Destiny 2 is its loot system. Players earn loot by completing activities and defeating enemies. The loot can range from weapons and armor to consumables and crafting materials.
