“What if your doctor told you this?”

My doctors never told me this. I wish they had!

When I was checking my Twitter feed earlier today, I came across this inspiring tweet from Dr. Robert Lufkin, who is a Medical professor helping people correct the underlying metabolic dysfunction causing most chronic diseases today.

I want to share this critical message because my family doctors never asked me about my diet. I made many dietary mistakes, such as consuming too many refined carbs and potato chips fried with seed oils giving me painful digestive disorders.

I was happy my family doctors relieved the pain temporarily by giving me medication. However, they were not sustainable. I kept making the same mistake repeatedly until I found a mentor who showed my errors.

Robert Lufkin M.D. says:

“What if your doctor told you this? Before we prescribe drugs, let’s remove sugar, grains & seed oils from your diet, correct nutritional deficiencies, remove any toxins that may be present, & begin some strength training and sleep exercises…….”

Here’s the tweet if you want to engage and share it with your followers.

It’s Not Your Fault You Are Getting Fat — The Authorities And Food Companies Want You To.

Related to this point, yesterday I read an insightful story by Rob Hourmont titled It’s Not Your Fault You Are Getting Fat — The Authorities And Food Companies Want You To.

Rob’s article is an eye-opener for the public. I am surprised by the current situation he portrayed in his story.

Rob informs that “Health authorities and processed food manufacturers regularly promote, even push, unhealthy foods on unsuspecting consumers, declaring them as healthy!”

I read an insightful comment from Dr Mehmet Yildiz on Rob’s article. I screenshot it to inform readers.

I also read an article from Dr. Yildiz today highlighting the importance of ketosis in improving health and well-being. It was a valuable read for me as I am interested in ketosis in my omnivorous diet. I enjoy both meat and vegetables.

One of his key messages in all diet types, whether plant or animal-based, was to lower or cut refined carbs and junk foods. This simple change might contribute to entering ketosis and benefiting from its therapeutic effects.

I link the story here for interested readers.

I learned a lot from the educative and inspiring stories of Dr. Yildiz published in his publication EUPHORIA on Medium.

Final Words

Our health is important. When we lose it, life becomes meaningless. It happened to me a few times. Nothing meant much until I recovered.

Unfortunately, millions of people are living with diabetes, and obesity has become an epidemic. People cannot lose weight because of consuming too much junk food for various reasons.

Despite the known harmful effects of junk food on people, I wonder why health authorities do not take necessary measures to inform citizens.

From Rob’s article, I understand that the problem relates to the economy. The processed food business is dominant in many countries.

The good news is that some countries recognized the health issues related to junk food, especially sugary food and beverages, and they started warning the public. I look forward to your thoughts on this important issue.

With that being said, thank you for reading my short post, and have a good one.
