WRITING PROMPTS
Weekly Prompts April 16–22, 2022
Your weekly dose of writing prompts
Hello, my beautiful babies. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that a week has gone by already. My goodness, this month is moving fast. But here we are again and ready for a whole new week of writing genius.
You’ve all added some very cool pieces this past week. I did way more reading than I did writing. That’s okay, though. It was so worth it. I had a ball reading everything.
I want to give a huge shout-out to both Ravyne Hawke and jules. These two beautiful women have been knocking out the Word-A-Day list like mad. Ladies, I’ve had a blast reading your words. They have become my inspiration in keeping myself moving. Thank you.
So, anyway, let’s get on with the task at hand. I hope you all find something that inspires your soul and causes you to step outside of your comfort zone, even if only a little. Here are your weekly writing prompts for April 16–22, 2022.

And there you have it, my friends. Use these prompts to your little hearts’ delight. These can be used for poetry, fiction, essays, or whatever else you can conjure. You can use more than one per post, and you can even use prompts from more than one prompt post if you choose. Just be sure to tag me (@sapheyerblu) and whichever other prompt writer you may be writing from. Also, make sure to tag Ravyne Hawke if you post something outside of PW.
Be sure to check out our other prompt writers. Marcus aka Gregory Maidman always has a great Sunday Spiritual post that will make you dig deeper into yourself.
Joanne Olivieri does a fantastic job of posting pictures she’s taken herself for her Photo Prompt pieces. She’s amazing.
Rose Malana is doing a super job creating her Natural Thought prompts. This week’s struck a chord in me the moment I read it. It’s not just about nature, it’s about thinking like nature. I love these.
And of course, Ravyne has her Monthly Theme and Monthly Challenge posts right at the top of the PW site. She also has her Mid-Week Micro prompts that are sure to wet your writing pallet. There’s a little something for everyone around here.
Now get those creative juices flowing. I can’t wait to see what you all come up with this week. Whatever you do, make sure you have fun.
Until next week, Happy Writing!!!
