We Got a Gameplay Demonstration for Assassin’s Creed Mirage
This gameplay showcases a “back-to-roots” focus in the demonstration.

So, in my past posts, I’ve talked about a bunch of stuff about Ubisoft. You can find those linked at the end of this post.
But today, I wanna chat about Assassin’s Creed and this cool demo they just showed off for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
What is Assassin’s Creed?
Assassin’s Creed is like this epic video game franchise that’ll blow your mind! It’s all about badass assassins, historical settings, and a whole lot of action.
Imagine being able to travel back in time and relive these crazy historical events, but with a hidden agenda to take down the bad guys. That’s what Assassin’s Creed is all about!
So, picture this: you’re playing as this wickedly cool assassin, right? You’re part of this secret society called the Assassins, and you’re on a mission to uncover this ancient conspiracy that stretches across centuries. The whole game is like a mix of history, conspiracy theories, and mind-blowing parkour skills.
Each game in the series takes place in a different time period, like the Crusades in the Middle East, Renaissance Italy, the American Revolution, Victorian London, and even ancient Egypt! They put so much effort into recreating these historical settings, man.
The attention to detail is mind-boggling, and it’s like stepping into a time machine. You get to walk around these beautifully designed cities, climb tall buildings, and just feel the vibe of the era.
The gameplay is sick. You’ll be running across rooftops, jumping from ledge to ledge, and performing all sorts of acrobatic stunts.
Plus, you’re armed with a killer arsenal of weapons like hidden blades, swords, and even guns in the later games. The combat is intense and satisfying, with all sorts of fancy moves and counters.
But it’s not just about running around and stabbing people, although that’s pretty awesome too. There’s this whole underlying story about this conflict between the Assassins and the Templars, who are like their arch-nemeses.
The Templars are all about control and domination, and the Assassins fight to keep freedom and free will alive. It’s like this eternal battle between good and evil.
And let me tell you, the stories in these games are mind-blowing. They’ll make your head spin with their twists and turns. You’ll be uncovering ancient artifacts, solving puzzles, and experiencing historical events from a whole new perspective. It’s like being a secret agent in the past, man.
Assassin’s Creed isn’t just a game, it’s a whole experience. The graphics are top-notch, the soundtracks are epic, and the characters are so memorable. You’ll get so invested in the story, you won’t be able to put the controller down.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage gameplay?
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is just a few months away, and at the Ubisoft Forward event, they showed us a new story trailer and a cool gameplay walkthrough.
The trailer spills the beans on how Basim joined the Hidden Ones after getting rescued by their boss. It shows him learning their ways and starting to question their orders.
Then they gave us a sneak peek of the gameplay, which happens early on in the game.
In the demo, Basim was a master of covertness. He pulled down a structure to create a distraction and ran like lightning across rooftops to lose the guards. After reuniting with the Hidden Ones, they hooked him up with some sweet new tools and sent him on a scouting mission.
He blended in, silently took out guards, and made the sky safe for his eagle buddy. Once he spotted his target, he patiently marked guards and took them down in a flash before finally assassinating his main objective. And then, he vanished into the crowd like a ghost.
This new game is all about Basim’s journey before he headed to England in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s a return to the franchise’s roots, focusing on stealth, smarts, and running like hell when things get tough.
Basim’s story unfolds in Baghdad and unveils how he joined the Hidden Ones, who are the ancestors of the Assassin Brotherhood. It also digs into his ancestry as the reincarnation of Loki.
