We Are Unstoppable, Another World Is Possible

Positive affirmation for the day — day 21– On being unstoppable

This is part of a daily series about positive affirmations and how they can benefit our lives.

Affirmation of the day:

“With positive thoughts and self-confidence, I will be unstoppable.”

Explanation

This quotation reminded me of a chant by a group of young protestors, at an Extinction Rebellion event I attended, and it was great to hear their youthful energy and positivity:

“We Are Unstoppable, Another World Is Possible.”

It also brought to mind a very influential book I read by Tony Robbins called “Awakening The Giant Within”.

We often have far more potential and ability than we realise. It is sometimes a question of getting in touch with that power. Tony recommends doing this by various means.

Pain as a motivator

One is to use the pain of where you want to escape from to motivate you to push towards your goals. In his case, he used his misery in a job as a janitor that he was not enjoying.

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)

He also recommends using neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), to change our inner dialogue, to convert any negativity into positivity.

Part of that can be done using positive affirmations as advocated in this series.

The affirmation also brings to mind the chant at some rallies for President Obama:

“Yes we can”.

Sometimes if you start believing you can achieve things, you become an unstoppable force. Go for it!
