Was That a Cat? That Was a Cat. Wasn’t it? It Was, Wasn’t it? And to Change Things up a Bit— a Tortoise!

Hebes are so reliable!

As in the header pic — hebes really are the stalwarts of city gardens.

Hebe was also a Greek god who was associated with youth and prime of life.

Maybe I’d better plant a hebe in my garden, too …

“Susan, do I really have to go out to be insulted by cats?”

“They’ll be there. They’re everywhere!”

See! Told ya!

That cat’s hurling inadible insults at me.

They’re everywhere! Everywhere, I tell ya!

However — this cat’s all right. Oh, yes!

I can tolerate this one.

We spotted this tortoise in someone’s front garden.

Tortoises are currently hibernating. They usually hibernate from November to March.

I looked it up and found that not all species of tortoise hibernate, so it’s as well if you know whether your tortoise is supposed to be a hibernating or non-hibernating species.

This tortoise — above — definitely won’t be hibernating. It’s not real.
