I have recently uncovered a method that enables me to carry out transactions across select LayerZero networks with low gas fees. What’s more, this approach also positions me to meet the necessary criteria for potential Airdrops on zkSync and Polygon zkEVM networks.

Now, let’s dive into Part 2- Merkly x LayerZero.
Today, Merkly just launched their first iteration of $MERK as an Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT)!
Users can now claim $MERK on any chain and seamlessly bridge it across all networks via LayerZero.
Advantages of an OFT over regular ERC20:
- Increased safety due to no wrapping
- Hypercomposability; token can exist on any chain
- No fragmentation; liquidity pools aren’t needed
- Seamless, fast and cheap bridging to 29+ chains
- All Powered by LayerZero.
Note: The $MERK current iteration has no inherent value, as there’s no cap on the supply. Its purpose is for users to complement their ONFT bridging with OFTs — using LayerZero — and not breaking the bank.
Step 1: Go to OFT Bridge , claim $MERK from zkSync
Step 2: Bridge $MERK to Polygon zkEVM
Note: you can bridge other pairs to increase transactions on LayerZero, zkSync and Polygon zkEVM networks.
