🪂· How to Obtain 10 Goerli ETH Step-by-Step Guide

One of the primary challenges we encounter when testing certain testnets, such as Linea, is acquiring sufficient Goerli ETH. The amounts provided by certain faucets are often insufficient for even a single transaction.

I would like to offer some suggestions on how to obtain sufficient Goerli ETH for testnets.

It’s NOT free but it’s cheap, you can buy Goerli ETH ( on Arbitrum chain or Polygon Chain), just follow my steps.

Let’s dive into a step-by-step guide:

1️⃣ Arbitrum Chain

1. Connect Arbitrum wallet.

2. Click on the default token.

3. Select “ETH ON Arbitrum”.

4. Enter 0.001ETH (or any amount) and click on “Transfer”.

5. In Metamask, click on “Market” over the gas option.

6. Click on “Advanced”.

7. Edit Gas limit.

8. Set it to “5000000”.

9. Confirm the transaction.

10. switch back to Goerli test network, check your gETH amount.

The above process cost me roughly $0.37 in gas fees on the Arbitrum network.

2️⃣Polygon Chain

1: connect your wallet (polygon chain) 2: swap Matic to FDT

3: confirm the swap

4: add FDT to wallet

5: Bridge & Swap FDT to Goerli

6: Switch Polygon to Goerli Chain, check your gETH amount.

This process cost me roughly $0.1 in gas fees on the Polygon network.
