Airdrop | Linea L2 Testnet + Free NFT Guide

ConsenSys zkEVM public testnet has launched and it has got a shiny new name — Linea. Consensys is the company that developed Metamask and Linea.

Linea, the next evolution of ConsenSys zkEVM, is an innovative Layer 2 solution designed to power a new generation of Ethereum-based dapps. With the testnet now open to all, Linea offers a developer-centric approach, providing seamless integration with popular tools like MetaMask and Truffle.

Linea launched its first Private Beta Testnet under the name ConsenSys on January 9, 2023. On March 28, 2023, the name ConsenSys was changed and the Public Beta Testnet was announced as Linea. Linea Mainnet is scheduled to launch on July 10, 2023

Tasks

1.Transfer and withdraw test tokens in Bridge. 2. Swap test tokens and provide liquidity in Swap. 3. Collect free Linea NFT

Add Linea Goerli Testnet to Wallets

1. Transfer and withdraw test tokens

Step 1: Adding networks.

Go to and Add Linea Goerli Testnet to Metamask wallets

Network name: Linea Goerli test network New RPC URL: https://rpc.goerli.linea.build Chain ID: 59140 Currency Symbol: LineaETH Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.goerli.linea.build

Step 2: Get Goerli $ETH.

a) Faucet Link 1

b) Faucet Link 2

c) Faucet Link 3

Now you have Goerli ETH, time to make transfers.

Step 3: Bridge your fund

a) Send 0.05 $ETH from Goerli to Linea, ( and send $ETH from Linea ack to Goerli)

b) Use Faucet to get $USDC c) Convert your funds

d) Add your funds to liquidity Pool (LP)

2. Swap test tokens and provide liquidity

Step 1: go to Uniswap “Linea Testnet” Interface (https://swap.goerli.linea.build/#/swap)

Step 2: swap 0.01 ETH to crUSDC

Sept 3: Swap 0.01 ETH to crWETH

Step 4: provide liquidity (LP), add ETH/USDC pool.

Note: It’s better to repeat all steps several times.

3. Collect your free NFT

4. Collect SHANGHAI/CAPELLA $ETH NFT Celebrate the Ethereum Shanghai/Capella upgrade with a limited availability NFT. The NFT is free to claim, but you have to pay a network gas fee.
