Time is Running Out for “Friends” to JOIN this Reading Club!

Are you a FOM with the same core values that we have?

If you’re one of the writers on Medium who has stepped things up and decided to become a Friend of Medium (FOM), I have some news that you may or may not be aware of.

1️ I created a little club about a month ago, exclusively for FOM members

2️ I currently have a membership of 44 readers (including myself).

3️ Friday — January 26th (11pm PST) will be the last day to become a MFR club member.

That means that time is running out for FOM members to join this brand new reading club.

Allow me to share something that might help you make up your mind, especially if you don’t know anything about who Justiss Goode really is on this platform.

It actually matters to your earnings…

The value and benefits of being a club member

I’m one of the most prolific writers on Medium, and I’m also a beast when it comes to promoting fellow members who have the same mindset as me.

Besides that, I don’t just promote other writers myself, I also show other members how to promote their fellow writers, with activities like those mentioned in: Try these Creative Examples of How to Promote Your Fellow Medium Writers!

See what I’m doing right now? Honestly, I just can’t help myself. I truly want to see my Medium community of writers succeed — all of us.

But let’s face it; there’s only so much that any of us can do by ourselves, but collectively, if we have the same motivation and mindset, it’s on like

Within the remaining days that I continue to accept members, I hope to find additional writers/readers who believe we can work together to get further ahead.

I strongly believe in:

Writers ✍ helping ✍ Writers 📃 write and succeed 💰.

That has been my philosophy and MO from the moment I came on onto this online writing platform that is essentially devoted to readers.

In this reading club, regardless of what may appear to be a monetary motive to read more, sh*t happens and things change.

People evolve and discover so many other benefits, besides the money part of things.

That’s because Medium is so much more to most of us, than just a possible chance to earn money.

If you don’t think so, read stories like the one John Ang wrote out of genuine concern, about his “missing Medium friend“.

Or maybe you haven’t heard what our dear sweet Jan Sebastian 🖐👩‍🦰 had to say about all the loving support she got from the community recently.

Then of course, I myself had a particularly bad day, where I was able to be uplifted, by reading and interacting with my friends here on Medium.

Naturally, I had to write and share how I felt about the benefit of reading and ridding myself of the stress of the day, all thanks to my commitment to the club’s main objective.

My gratitude had nothing to do with money, which by the way, my current earnings and stats are doing just fine.

If you’re starting to notice that there might be something to this whole reading club thing, you’re right.

The reason why is…

Reading is the key and answer to future earnings

I have without a doubt concluded that reading is an essential part of what makes the FOM option potentially lucrative for so many writers in the community.

That is exactly what prompted me to create my Medium Friends Reading Club (MFR Club) that I describe in the story:

Writers Wanted for the ”Medium Friends Reading Club!” — Do you like the idea of earning more money on Medium?

To sum it up in a nutshell, the club is for FOM writers who basically have the same core values as me, about what FOM can achieve.

I hope to discover the same motivation and inspiration in all club members.

Those values are actually quite fair and simple, but they also have the power to help us all earn considerably more from our stories.

They consist of the following:

I encourage you to read the entire “Writers Wanted…” story already mentioned, but don’t wait too long, because the clock is ticking.

Don’t fool around and miss out, because you allow yourself to believe whatever misconceptions you think this club is about.

I don’t normally quote myself in this particular fashion, but in this case, the comment I made in the above-mentioned story is too important for me to understate:

“This ‘reading to earn more’ concept is actually in harmony with the conclusion I came to, when I wrote about the need to read more Medium stories.

Becoming a friend and joining the club could prove to be a benefit in many ways.”

Final Thoughts

When you see what’s expected from our membership, you can see that it really should amount to simply beefing up the activities that you’re already engaging in.

But don’t think for a second, that this means there is no real advantage to joining.

Not only does the MFR Club have a newsletter coming out in the first week in February, but there’s some more exciting club related news coming also.

You’ll hear all about it by the end of the upcoming week, so stay tuned.

But in the meantime, check this out:

Now that I have become more focused on the need to tune into the Reader side of things, I’m on a mission to be just as avid a reader, as I am a prolific writer.

I admit that it will take a different kind of self discipline, but this is 2024, and I’m all in. With the MFR Club to focus on, there’s no way I can not keep my mind on reading.

Thanks for sticking around…
