This Week’s Prompt: 10–16.08

All things nature.

Good morning/afternoon/evening, now and forever!

I hope all of you are feeling energized and excited for this new week! My apologies for not being so active these past few days. I took a short break and escaped into the mountains with little to no phone signal or internet. I haven’t had the opportunity to clap, highlight and respond as much as I would’ve liked to, but I’ll make up for it this week!

The 4 days I spent into the mountains recharged my body and calmed my mind in ways I didn’t know was possible. Hiking was tiring and it fatigued each muscle in my body, yet I never felt happier or more at peace with life then when I was struggling through the mud. I never felt closer to nature either. It was magical.

On the way home, as I was thinking about this week’s prompt, I decided nature would be a good one. A lot of the poetry published in Know Thyself has nature as a main theme, so why not take it to a new level?

My wish is to discover what your relationship with nature is. How much time you spend outdoors, what activities you do, how you recharge, how you actively meditate.

And…most importantly…How do you spiritually, energetically and mentally connect to mother nature?

I am looking forward to reading everyone’s articles again. As always, be as creative as you wish! There’s no right or wrong, there just is.
