Dear Parable

Poetry

Photo by Priscilla Serneo on Unsplash

So many keys and locks too many illustrations countless days eyes upon the sky

Fragrant nights nose deep in those books but a treasure within me I’d find

All of those years

Seeking out there

Clergy clouding my view

Like removal of a curtain dross and silver; the unveil so now, oh now what to do

See, I see clearly now fresh water let’s talk I am bigger than the storm let’s walk

See I’m that book and that city which creation comes out from I’m that church and that body too

And in my house there’s a rumbling yea so much goes on there; there’s a tossing of tables, it’s true

See, I know where the tomb is (shh) where He was buried that day

But we can’t see spirit so no thing will be found no never in a physical way

Never tempted by another for heaven is right here royal blood running through these veins

Patiently awaiting the arrival of me to come witness that which I claim

It’s within that IT rises thou Consciousness, my friend passing over from death to life

Bruised by ego or some lower creepy, crawly thing the one who is here for the heist

Could it be me? Was I in my own way? Never again I’ll go stray

I’m creating worlds now with the words that I am chiseling at stone, no dismay

Oh sweet allegory and symbolism trying to convey to the physical a spiritual thing

Using metaphors for the metamorphosis and I weep ‘cause no one quite hears this display

And I see wheat and the weeds and the gardens, and snakes with the night and the day and in awe of it all I am focused

On these things which are right which are lovely; so noble, admirable, so very worth it

See it’s recorded as truth therefore it appears, I know it sounds a little “Hocus pocus”

So don’t say that out loud for the many might hang you cocooned there they are who has broke us

They were never quite taught to believe to receive; from our tongues we conceive what is for us

So dear Parable, I’ve offered my eyes. My ears, they hear what you say. And I thank you. This is truly good news: It’s a really, really good day!

Staying out of my way and humbly surrendering my own understanding and letting knowledge do its thing. Listening to where it tells me to go. Within.

We are equipped with everything that we need to move mountains, or turn water in to wine, for that matter. From poor to wealthy, bound to free, we can do all things!

Thank you kindly for stopping by. May your day be beautiful.

Love & Light, Hope Coalesce.
