This is How Your Brain Controls Your Success or Failure (in Anything)
Your brain is listening

1. Behaviors
The actions we take or don’t take directly influence how well anything works out in our lives.
We all know this, yet we still do things that work against us.
Why do we fail to do those things we know will benefit us? And why would we ever do anything that works against us? Why do we do what we do?
It’s our feelings about what we do or should do. Because of our feelings, we often fail to take our own good advice.
2. Feelings
Our feelings directly influence our actions.
What we decide to do or not do is influenced by our feelings. And your feelings about anything will affect how well you do it.
How you feel about money, success, health, your partner, your job, family, yourself, and life generally will determine how you behave in each area.
What creates the way we feel about anything?
Your feelings about anything spring from your attitude about it.
3. Attitudes
Our attitude is our outlook or perspective and determines how we feel about something.
We all know how important attitude is. A good attitude is essential for success. Our attitude determines how we feel, our feelings determine how we act, and our actions determine how well things work out.
But where do our attitudes come from?
It’s what we believe about something that determines our attitude about it.
4. Beliefs
Our perspective about anything springs out of what we believe about it. What you believe about anything, including yourself, will affect what you end up doing.
We can believe something that is not true. This happens all the time, and it’s a problem because our perspective is not based on reality.
If our map is incorrect, getting to where we want to go will be impossible. We can act to get what we want, but if our tactics are not based on reality, our hard work will not get the desired results.
The closer our beliefs are to reality, the greater our chances of success.
There is nothing more important than understanding how reality works and how to deal with it. -Ray Dalio Principles: Life and Work
But where do our beliefs come from?
We believe what we have been programmed to believe.
5. Programming
We believe what we have been conditioned to believe. First, by our parents, then by others. A multitude of influences over the course of our entire lives.
Everything around us persuades us.
The strongest programs prevail, and we reinforce or alter them with our own internal dialogue.
Life is not a matter of luck. Those who appear luckier than most have only gotten better programming.
Everything springs from our programming.
We believe what we have been programmed to believe. What we believe about anything creates our attitude toward it. Our attitude about something determines how we feel about it. How we feel determines what we do and how well we do it. And actions create results.
If you want better results in life. Change your programming.
“The brain simply believes what you tell it most. And what you tell it about you, it will create. It has no choice.” ― Shad Helmstetter
