This Is for You, Only You
Highlights of the week
Have you ever felt highly mindful about something specific?
How about feeling how every muscle moves and contracts while doing exercise, how the water splashes around you when you swim? Have ever you reflected on how your body moves when you dance? What about feeling the sensation of the pages you turn over whenever you are done reading them?
There can be many examples of how you can appreciate your hobbies and how they impact your life.
Let’s say that you are doing yoga, but tomorrow’s presentation keeps bugging you. You start to think about what data you have to add and how you can excel and improve it. Suddenly you notice that you should be doing another pose. This would suck, right? You’re too distracted.
An activity in which you can truly disconnect and focus on what you like can do wonders. Why not choose an activity only…for you? Compromise to take some time off from your hectic life. Remember, balance is everything.
There will always be paperwork to do but you can also focus on yourself.
What would you do? What would be something for YOU?
I was inspired as I was going through Medium and truly engaging with other authors and I felt, at ease going to one article and another, I loved it. We can always learn so much from everybody else. And being mindful of everything we do is the best practice.
With that being said, I would like to share some of the weekly highlights.
Highlights of the week
DR Rawson - The Possibilist shared one of his contests with us! It was in honor of all the veterans that have helped us. Want to read who the winners are? 💪
“This year’s contest was in honor of our son, Sgt. Taylor Rawson, U.S. Army Ret. Taylor is retired after serving in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan.”
We’ve had amazing responses for our living book dynamic and we are very thankful. The Sturg shared one of his favorite influencers. I bet you’ve also seen him around. He has done so many wonderful things! 👍
“He inspires me in a way where I can’t necessarily duplicate the magnitude of his kindness but the spirit of it is definitely there.”
Allisonn Church also wrote a beautiful response to this week’s prompt (for more info, please read further down below). I’ll bet that some tears will fall thanks to the amazing things this celebrity has done. 🙌
“There are countless videos of Cena doing adorable things. Do a search and watch a few — you’ll probably cry at least once.”
Aarti Tailor shares his thoughts and how we sometimes take another path. Whenever we have a new hobby, something that elevates us and makes us mindful is the best but there can also be responsibilities that can make us feel detached. “Why” is the question! 😍
“…or causes us to reconnect with our inner child; is something worth exploring and making time for on a regular basis.”
We should always celebrate improvements and I must say that we can celebrate alongside Bingz Huang! She is doing amazing with her dance classes and she also teaches us how we as a family, can learn from each other.
“Seeing the bigger picture of my dance journey now, it’s easier for me to embrace both the beauty and imperfections of my dances.”
Talking about being mindful, I would like to share Kevin J Fellows’s poem. I bet it will also motivate you to get up and be proactive! 🏃
“Today I just go I could run forever”

Please check the seventh prompt down below!
If you want to read the other weekly prompts, please head to the living book itself by clicking on the first option you can see on our home page, you won’t miss it!
