Get Yourself A Big Bowl Of Soul Food

Find what lights you up on a deeper level

Soul food isn’t green smoothies and Buddha bowls.

Soul food is the thing that raises your vibration and feeds your spirit in a way nothing else can.

It’s what lights you up.

It’s the things that cause you to forget to look at the time or anything else for that matter.

It’s the things that create being mindful in the present moment without even trying.

When we find that thing that sets our soul on fire it seems almost crazy that we allow it to fall to the wayside and become less of a priority but our realities have become designed to allow responsibilities to get in the way of our happiness.

I find that people are so obsessed with making money or monetizing their hobbies that they lose the initial spark of passion that drove them in the first place.

It’s sad when this happens because eventually this stops being something that fulfills them on a soul level and leaves them feeling lost.

Some things need to be done for the sake of doing them, not for any other purpose.

However, the line often gets blurred when doing something for pure joy and doing something to bring in money.

At first, it may seem like a good idea, I mean why not make money from the things we love right?

This can sometimes work, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be the right move for every hobby or pastime.

When something fills us up with pure joy we don’t want to taint that positivity it brings us by adding that extra pressure of it making us money.

Finding that thing that we can spend hours on and not feel like it was time wasted, that pulls us out of a negative spiral, or causes us to reconnect with our inner child; is something worth exploring and making time for on a regular basis.

Find your personal soul food, what lights you up on a deeper level, and hold that passion close, it will work so many miracles in your life.
