I’m sure you’ve seen this before:

  1. “Oh no! Not another ‘How I Made $3 million on Medium in 5 minutes’ post…but here’s another one anyway! Hahaha. I’m so cheeky. Praise me.
  2. It follows with 500 - 10,000 words about why they wrote the original article.
  3. Half of them mention their stats, theories, and what unique things they did in the story←I like these
  4. The other half mention how great they are.←I don’t like these

Love ’em or hate ’em, a lot of people read these posts. They get views. So authors keep writing them.

I wanted to sift through a tonne of these articles (1 tonne = 25) and extract what was valuable for easy reading.

I couldn’t bring myself to mention at least 10 of them, but I did manage to find 15 that were either great, good, or mediocre but had enough stats to satisfy my inner-nerd.

I won’t mention which is which, the writing always speaks for itself.
