The Surprises of Life. Or is it Our Eyes?

Is Life a box of surprises?

Life is filled with surprises.

Or rather, filled with expectations of surprises.

The surprises we don’t like?

We call them “nasty”.

The surprises we like?

We call ourselves “lucky”.

The difference lies in the eyes of the mind.

And where we set our sights.

Truthfully, “nasty” or “lucky”, it depends on this.

What do we choose to see?
