The Specs for the Upcoming PS5 Pro Have Just Been Leaked

This leak has many players confused about what’s coming for the PS5 Pro.

Well, the “Pro” models are like the upgraded, turbo-charged versions of their regular counterparts. They’re the superheroes of gaming consoles, the cream of the crop!

The first thing you’ll notice about the Pro models is their stunning visuals. These bad boys generally support higher graphics, which basically means everything will be ultra-sharp and crystal clear. It’s like gaming in a whole new dimension!

Now, let’s talk about performance. The Pro models come equipped with a more powerful processor and a beefier GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). Translation: they can handle more intense gaming action without breaking a sweat.

Imagine playing a graphically demanding game with no lag or frame rate drops — that’s the power of the Pro! Not to mention, some games are specifically optimized to take full advantage of this extra horsepower, giving you an even smoother and more immersive experience.

Now, I know what you might be thinking — “Do I really need all this Pro stuff?” Well, it depends on your gaming appetite. If you’re a casual gamer who’s happy with the regular PlayStation experience, then maybe the Pro isn’t a must-have for you.

But if you’re a hardcore gamer who wants the best of the best, then the Pro is like a shiny trophy you’ll want to show off.

What has been leaked?

So, you know how everyone’s been buzzing about Sony dropping a new and improved version of the PlayStation 5? Well, the rumors have been flying all over the place lately, and it’s got people seriously wondering what’s coming next.

First off, Sony slashed the price of the regular PS5 in the UK, US, and loads of other countries. Now, that’s got fans speculating if they’re getting ready to announce a fancy PS5 Pro or a beefed-up standard model.

And get this, there’s this leaker called @Zuby_Tech who claims to have some juicy info on the future PS5 upgrade, codenamed “Project Trinity.” But brace yourself, because if the leaks are true, it’s not exactly earth-shattering news.

According to the grapevine, the new PS5 will have a 5nm APU instead of the 7nm version found in the current one. That might make it smaller and more energy-efficient, but don’t get too excited, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be more powerful.

Another change is that they’re ditching the liquid metal cooling. Probably because this version won’t generate as much heat, which is good news for those who’ve had overheating issues with their current PS5.

But here’s the kicker, this doesn’t really scream “PS5 Pro” to us; it sounds more like a rumored PS5 Slim.

This new model might carry the label CFI-1300, and if that info is already out, we might hear more concrete details in the next few months.

Now, even Microsoft is jumping on the bandwagon, thinking there’s a slimmer PS5 in the pipeline. They mentioned it in some paperwork related to their acquisition of Activision Blizzard. They seem to believe Sony will release a PS5 Slim later this year, at a similar price point to the current one.

Final Words

So, there you have it. All this talk has us wondering if the new model will hit stores before Christmas.

But hold your horses; it doesn’t seem like a PS5 Pro is happening until at least 2024.

Guess we’ll have to wait and see what other crazy rumors and leaks come up in the meantime!
