7 Writers on Medium
The Rising Trend of Writers 2.0. Stop Missing Out. (7 Writers)
Trends come and go and the one that last leads and takes it all.

Recently, I have been reading a bit. A handful of writers caught my attention with either how they write, what they write or the metrics are standing out to me.
I would like to catch this earlier so that the risk and reward ratio would make sense for me to take the time to either learn or interact, directly or indirectly.
So why am I sharing this?
If you haven’t noticed that Medium is growing at a faster pace in January from my post about Medium. Read that later, the point is Medium has increased its traffic by 10% or 600,000 from Dec. to Jan.
And you would likely be one of them, yes I’m talking more to the new writers on Medium. The reason for that is that new writers often come with a lot of hope of doing something but there is always a lack of examples or guidance of what could go right or wrong.
Just like playing games or joining any community as a new member.
Things look exciting for a while until you figure out you’re on your own alone.
Well, you’re still doing it by yourself a few tips and examples from these writers might help you open an eye or 2.
The Rising Trend 2.0 (just a name to differentiate from the 1st batch) Which you can read here. Read that later as well, if you haven’t read it.
Some of them I might have mentioned indirectly before. But let’s start with the one with the lowest follower count.

One Writer
Melvin Creatur, a new Medium writer with only 22 followers at the time I’m writing this. He has a long-term plan of why he is not going to put up a paywall any time soon.
This should give you great courage to show up and post even when the pay is in pennies.
Two Writer
JaffaBranding, came across when he submitted his 1st post on the Pub. What I see is his ability to bring when he learns from different digital experiences and brings them to Medium. (did catch my attention earlier but wasn’t sure I was going to make this list at the time)
He posts not just once but multiple times a day, you can see his refocus on Medium.
Three Writer
Ashley, puts her voice and tone under her writing and shows a clear way of expressing her thoughts. Where I found myself doing that a bit sometimes.
There’s a lot to learn from her if you read each line carefully.
Four Writer
Sam Krämer, the short-form writer. If you are interested in writing something short, personal, and posting frequently then you can check him out.
Watch out. He is multiplying.
Five Writer
Martin Kessler or Malkas, is not just a great artist but a decent writer as well. He also designed the Banner for the Pub.
He is not just creative but as real as it can be. If you ever feel like quitting or are out of ideas, go there and read.
Six Writer
Daniel T., has been on my radar for quite some time. Would of include him in the original Rising Trend of Writers but left him out because I know there is a lot more in him. How I know, I can’t tell you but I do catch trends early for the thing I can see.
Many new writers would know him by now but I still have to mention what is great to learn from. He just launched a Pub as well “Word Wave”.
Seven Writer
The Daily Updater, is someone I read but have never mentioned or interacted with much. But his work are in a wide range of topic and are doing well in all of them.
Wish I could dig in some more but the time allocation is not allowing, so I’ll leave it.
All the writers listed here are based on metrics and recent performance.
Which of course is not the only reason that is listed here. There is much to it but you have to find out yourself.
I can only see what I see it is your duty to look out for yourself.
Thanks for Reading. (start exploring, learning, and engaging as much as you like)
