As the editor of our publication, I want to make sure we are all on the same page when it comes to publishing content. While I love and appreciate all of the stories and articles you submit, I want to remind you of a few things regarding the rights and publication of your work.

First and foremost, you own the rights to the content you post. That means you have the right to edit and the power to remove your work from the publication at any time.

When it comes to the publication, I reserve the right to edit articles but never in a way that hurts your writing. I am here to help you refine your writing, clarify your ideas, and present your story in the most engaging and impactful way possible. When I edit a piece, I focus on how to get one sentence flowing smoothly and effortlessly into the next. That’s how we get the reader to read from start to finish.

But don’t worry, I won’t just go around deleting your precious words without reason. I will sometimes move paragraphs around just so the words flow into each other to give the reader a great reading experience.

My goal is to maintain the quality and integrity of our publication so that readers can continue to enjoy the content we put out.

And my intention is for any story that I edit to get Boosted and do well.

You have the right to your work and so you have the right to remove your work, but I kindly ask that you let me know if you plan to do so and why, to avoid any hard feelings in the future. In the event that you keep removing your work without notifying me, I reserve the right to remove you from the publication without explanation.

We’re all here because we want to share our stories and experiences with others. When stories are published in Mystic Minds, we hope they will remain in the publication.

Please read our UPDATED submission guidelines as our publication evolves toward personal storytelling.

Mystic Minds is a platform for you to share your voice and connect with readers on a deeper level. With the Boost Nomination Pilot, I have the means to nominate your best story and so I want to encourage you to keep submitting your work.

If you haven’t written anything in a while, this is a gentle nudge to get to writing. You do not know who your words will impact.

Thank you for being a part of our publication. Let’s continue to be respectful of each other’s time and collaborate for impact, to inspire and uplift each other through our writing.

I look forward to reading, editing, possibly nominating your next submission, and getting you Boosted!
