Summary

The article discusses the potential benefits of semen retention for men seeking to find their life purpose and increase energy levels.

Abstract

The article titled "The Power of Doing Semen Retention to Find Your Life Purpose" suggests that men who frequently ejaculate may enter a cycle of depression and low energy, which can hinder their ability to identify and pursue their life purpose. It posits that semen retention, a practice of avoiding ejaculation, can help conserve vital energy, as supported by both scientific and mystical perspectives. The loss of semen is associated with a depletion of minerals, hormones, and neurotransmitters, leading to a state of recovery and fatigue. Mystical traditions such as Yoga and Taoism have long recognized the importance of conserving sexual energy, known as virya or ching, which is considered finite and diminishes with each ejaculation. The article emphasizes that by practicing semen retention, men can redirect their sexual energy towards more meaningful pursuits, such as finding their life purpose. It also advises on lowering expectations, taking responsibility, and healing from past traumas to discover one's mission in life. The author encourages men to revisit past interests and natural talents as potential indicators of their life purpose.

The Power of Doing Semen Retention to Find Your Life Purpose

You will never feel your mission if you are low on energy

When I was a teenager, I slept a lot because I wasn’t happy. I ejaculated a lot which enabled the sleep.

There is a vicious cycle when you don’t have a life purpose. You feel depressed. You ejaculate to get your hit of happiness. But right after you are in a grimmer place.

Every man needs a life purpose. Don’t settle for a 9–5 lifestyle. Where you are trapped on the hamster wheel for 45 years, longing for retirement.

Your salvation is a powerful semen retention practice.

The number 1 reason for having your non-ejaculation practice is to keep your energy inside. Whenever you ejaculate, you suffer the mini-death.

There is a negative biological effect and energetic depletion when you lose semen. When you ejaculate instead of feeling energized, you feel like rolling over and drifting off into a deep sleep.

What do the scientists say?

Your body goes into recovery mode immediately after you ejaculate. You are depleted of minerals along with a cocktail of hormones and neurotransmitters.

These include norepinephrine, serotonin, oxytocin, vasopressin, nitric oxide, and prolactin.

Prolactin, vasopressin, and oxytocin are associated with recovery time and sleep.

Another drain on the body is replacing the blood (used in the production of semen) and white blood (used in the transportation of sperm) cells that are used in producing the semen.

What do the mystics say?

“Falling of semen brings death; preservation of semen gives life. Semen is the real vitality in men. It is the hidden treasure in man. It imparts the brightest happiness to the face and strength to the intellect.”

— Gheranda Samhita

The Yogis and Taoists have long known the negative effects of ejaculating. In yogic philosophy, they know sexual energy as virya and by the Taoists as ching. These mystics say you are born with a limited amount of sexual energy. As you use it, your levels go down.

When you were a teenager, you got sexually stimulated often and easily. But a grandpa in his 90s doesn’t have such a preoccupation with sex.

It can direct the energy you now save through a semen retention practice toward finding your life's purpose.

How to find your life purpose

A man needs a life purpose. If you don’t have a life purpose, you will be like a small boat in a rough sea. Life throws around you.

Redirect your sexual energy towards your life's purpose with dramatic effects. If you don’t have a life purpose, use this energy to find one.

Why can you not find your life purpose?

Expectations. Lower your expectations of what your life's purpose looks like. I used to think that my life purpose would solve all my problems. Wrong.

Drop expectations of what your life purpose will deliver:

  1. All problems will disappear.
  2. Monetize and replace your main source of income.
  3. All tasks should be easy.
  4. Instant success.
  5. Weaknesses will not be exposed.

Responsibility. You will need to step up and take responsibility for getting your life's purpose in motion and maintaining its evolution. My 2 main pursuits are writing and spirituality. I write 3–4 articles a week. Nobody writes them for me. Finding the answer to the question ‘Who I am?’ has taken me all over the world. Reading 100s of books, 1000s of hours in meditation, yoga, and contemplation, and 7 years studying in India.

Trauma. You may have experienced some things in your childhood that require healing. Painful incidents and modeling negative behaviors of your parents may be major roadblocks.

To realize your life's purpose, let go of tension and stress.

Where to direct your energy

“You don’t have to find your mission, you need to relax at the moment to discover it. It is being shown to you right now.”

— David Deida

You have done or have right in front of your life's purpose already. Look at these places.

Past interests. I used to love writing and reading fiction as a kid. But I stopped it for over 2 decades. What were you interested in as a kid? Start it again.

Natural talents. There will be activities, jobs, skills, and games that come easily to you. However, you will downplay your ability because it comes easy to you. If you find it difficult to identify, compare yourself to others and see where you fare better.

Remove the obstacles and see what is already happening right in front of you.

Losing your energy through ejaculation and being rudderless are intertwined. The only way to reap the value from a semen retention practice is to commit for a period, then re-evaluate. Here’s how.
