“Power of 3" Six Words & a Photo: Conclusion

SWPSC: “3” & Freestyle Stories— November’s Conclusion

Fallen leaf meets pebble and petal.

I was walking through the neighborhood at nighttime looking for threesomes outdoors for the November “3” challenge, but couldn’t find any. I thought, “What if I find three things from nature and make an art piece?”

I found the leaf, picked up the pebble next to it, found the flower petal a few meters away, and introduced them.

Voila! Nighttime nature art follows the “Power of 3" and with a few seconds of creativity — a trio is born.

Today Marks the 91-Day Anniversary

We’re 91 days in since the launch of Six Word Photo Story Challenge! November challenged writers to engage the “Power of 3” to Inform, Inspire & Amuse us by taking photos of threesomes, trios, triplets, or anything that represented the number 3.

I thought this would be a tough challenge, but I was amazed by the creativity, participation, and excitement level of the writers!

A big village hug and gratitude to readers and writers for continuing to support this fun publication. Writers have told me that they either love, have become addicted, or are obsessed with the SWPSC! The challenges make them see photos in a new way and teach them how to write differently.

On the editor’s end, I’m constantly awed by the photos I review that bring me joy, make me laugh, or wonder along with the stories behind them.

Please remember to grow our writing village by reading, clapping, highlighting, or commenting on the stories in this publication (including this story) to support your fellow writers.

I reviewed all photo stories, but here are 12 stories that took the “Power of 3” or “Freestyle” to an awesome level and wowed me — out of the 150+ stories published this month.
