The Nintendo Switch 2 Could Have Ray Tracing Better Than the Latest PlayStation and Xbox
It will support NVIDIA DLSS 3,5 Ray Reconstruction.

I’ve chatted about all kinds of Nintendo stuff in my past stories, and you can find those links at the end of this post.
But right now, I’m gonna spill the beans on the rumor that the Nintendo Switch 2 might rock some seriously awesome ray tracing tech, possibly outdoing the new PlayStation and Xbox.
Nintendo’s consoles have never been the go-to choice for top-notch graphics. But you know what? That didn’t stop these machines from becoming absolute legends in the world of gaming. And guess what? It looks like Nintendo might be gearing up to drop a graphics bombshell on us if this new rumor about the Switch 2 is the real deal.
Alright, so, here’s the scoop. The Nintendo Switch 2 could be packing something called Ray Reconstruction tech. Now, that might sound like tech mumbo jumbo, but let me break it down for you.
It means that this new console would need to, at the very least, sport DLSS 3.5 (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology, which, in simple terms, is like the holy grail of graphics wizardry. If this is true, it would officially kick the PS5 and Xbox Series X to the curb in the specs department.
The Switch is getting a bit long in the tooth compared to these fancy new PlayStation and Xbox machines. It’s like comparing a classic car to a brand-spanking-new sports car. But if this rumor holds water, we’re talking about a massive leap in performance.
I mean, Super Mario Bros Wonder might be the Switch’s swan song, but it’s clear that its time in the limelight is drawing to a close. Even Mario Kart 8, the beloved classic, has finally run out of new content to keep us entertained.
So, if this upgrade is for real, it’s no wonder that people are saying they’ve spotted the Switch 2 running some pretty intense software. I’m talking about games like Hogwarts: Legacy and the Matrix Awakens Unreal Engine 5 demo. That’s some high-octane stuff, my friend. We’re talking about a console that’s going to be packing some serious heat.
Now, if history tells us anything, Nintendo always loves to introduce something fresh and mind-blowing with their hardware. Think about it: the Wii gave us motion controls, the Wii U had that funky Gamepad and the Switch?
Well, it gave us the brilliant handheld and console hybrid concept. So, with the Switch 2 on the horizon, you can bet your bottom dollar that they’ve got something big up their sleeves.
Imagine a Pokemon game that’s so drop-dead gorgeous you’d swear you were in the actual Pokemon world. And let’s not forget about Yoshi; maybe that little dino has been secretly covered in soft, fluffy, and incredibly realistic hair all along, and we just haven’t had the tech to see it in all its glory. Fingers crossed for that one!
Final Words
In the end, whether the Nintendo Switch 2 is a graphical powerhouse or not, one thing’s for sure: Nintendo has a knack for creating unforgettable gaming experiences.
And I, for one, can’t wait to see what they have in store for us with this new console.
So, bring it on, Nintendo! We’re ready for the next level of gaming greatness.
