Bursting through the door, you find a dwarf tending a cauldron. He looks up, startled, holding a spoon dripping something thick.
“Och! Who the bloody hell — ”
An unearthly shriek fills the hallway.
“Crivvens! Why’d ye have tae go and wake ‘im? Now I’ll nae get any work done!”
He points his dripping spoon toward a door in the back. “Away wi’ ye! I’ll handle His Bloody Lordship.”
You hide in the closet just when the shade bursts in.
The dwarf bellows, “That’s it, laddie! I’ll fetch the salt and iron if ye donna quit that skirling! No one’s here!”
